Like; Indulge in a cozy terrace in e.g. Borger, Rolde and Grolloo(bleus city), various open-air museums. Westerbork memory center, or WILDLANDS in Emmen. Close to the Tree Crown Trail, the beautiful swimming lake the Nije Hemelriek and climbing park "Joy Time" . A little more away: Drouwenerzand amusement park.

Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not in a holiday park and has its own entrance to the Tilweg. In 2018 it was completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own grounds of 1100m2! From the cottage you can walk into the woods in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

In one of the quietest places in the Netherlands, you will find our completely refurbished bakery. From the yard, walk into the endless German forests or explore the area by bicycle. Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the private terrace has a comfortable seating area, barbecue, sun loungers and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €15 per person.

Hardenberg is located in the natural Vechtdal of Overijssel and has a lot to offer. (8-16 people) This detached mansion from 1935 is located in the center of Emmen, just a few minutes' walk from the nightlife, train station, forest, Wildlands and the Rensenpark. There is ample (free!) parking. The entire upper house is more than half of this Villa with its own kitchen, living room, bathrooms, toilets and nice garden. As of April 2024, we have a large balcony with a beautiful view over the pond. There is also a picnic bench on the ground floor. Do you have an electric car? No problem. Next to our 1904 house on the outskirts of Gasselte is the fully furnished guest house that is entirely at your disposal. You can enjoy the tranquility of Drenthe in various nature reserves, but you are also close to the tourist villages of Borger and Gieten, with restaurants and shops, and activities such as golf and swimming. The price includes bed linen, made beds, towels, kitchen linen and final cleaning!! (no breakfast!)

Beautifully quiet location. Magnificent view of untouched nature, orchard meadow. You can relax there. Nearby is the Altenkamp estate with various exhibitions and concerts. Although the apartment is in my house, you have your own entrance area.
