Relax and unwind in our beautiful vacation home with views over the Jan Durkspolder. Enjoy the silence! With a private deck and completely unobstructed view, you have plenty of privacy! The cottage is modernly furnished and is equipped with luxury box spring beds, rain shower and excellent WiFi The surrounding area is great for cycling, hiking or boating. We have canoes and bicycles for rent. The cottage is located on a small-scale recreational site with 5 cottages and space for 10 campers.

Welkom in het Friese Wergea, gelegen op fietsafstand van Leeuwarden, van het Nationaal Park de Alde Feanen en van het watersportdorp Grou. Welkom ook in ons oude boerenhuis, waarvan een gedeelte van de voormalige stal omgetoverd is tot een sfeervolle B&B. Bijzonder ingericht met veel kunst aan de muur en een goedgevulde boekenkast. Het b en b bevindt zich separaat en afgesloten van het hoofdgebouw. Eigen ingang, eigen slaapkamer en eigen badkamer. Er is één b en b ruimte. Ontbijt inbegrepen.

The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Tussen de groene vlaktes van het Friesche Menaldum vindt u de uniek gebouwde Tiny Farm House met veranda inclusief hot tub. Deze grenst aan een traditionele kop hals romp boerderij uit 1880. Sinds 1980 runt boer Folkert de melkveehouderij waar 110 koeien gemelkt worden. Kom tot rust in de hot tub of neem een duik in de zwemvijver nabij. Ga met de veerboot een dag naar Terschelling of Vlieland. Breng een bezoek aan de hoofdstad Leeuwarden of stap op de fiets en verken de omgeving.

Bij aankomst zijn de bedden opgemaakt en er is voldoende bad- en keukenlinnen aanwezig. Er is een mogelijkheid om ontbijt te bestellen,in de weekenden lukt dit wel door de week

Lodging "Smederij Sterk" is located in the old city forge of J. Sterk. The monumental building dates from 1907 and is located in the middle of the city center, close to museums, restaurants, cozy shopping streets and the station. The accommodation has its own entrance, a living room with its own kitchen, a bedroom and a private bathroom with shower and toilet.
