Vacation rentals with a kayak in Essex County

We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday at Jeff’s house. The view and the house was beyond amazing. We ate breakfast and dinner with a view each day. The sunrise and the sunset were better than the pictures. The location was perfect as there was lots to do In each direction. Thank you Jeff for being an amazing host and we hope to be back hopefully in the summer to use those kayacks!

Accommodation: We stayed at Mary Lou's house that truly felt like home. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The living spaces were tastefully decorated, combining comfort with a cozy beach vibe. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances, cookware, and utensils, making it easy to prepare our own meals. We loved that there were ample supplies like spices and condiments, which made cooking feel effortless. The bedrooms were spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. Each room had its own unique touches, adding to the overall charm. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as plenty of towels, beach gear, and even games for family nights. Overall, the house provided all the conveniences we needed, creating a relaxing environment where we could unwind after a day of exploring the island. It really felt like a home away from home! Pictures didn't do the home justice-Even better in person!

A family vacation that I will always cherish. I've stayed at a lot of air bnbs and this one was stocked the best of all I've been to with the easiest checkout process I've ever experienced as well. I agree with all other 5 star reviews but would like to add that my kids 9, 7, and 5 especially loved climbing the huge rocks surrounding the harbor. Thank you for hosting us!

legitimately on the lake to the point you could technically fish from the dining area. Beautiful view and a nice deck. everything was clean and exactly as it sounds when reading the description. I would absolutely stay here again!

This place is a gem!! It sits in a super quiet neighborhood and close to Alewife metro station for trips into Boston. The house was perfect for our family of 6 (4 teenagers). The house was quaint, clean, and spacious enough for all us to feel like home for a few days. Aimee was super helpful in providing local recommendations for groceries and restaurants. She was also very proactive in checking in with us to see if we needed anything. Super host!! If you are traveling to Boston, this is a fantastic place to stay. Definitely would stay here again if we return at any point.

Betsy’s home was wonderful. I had the whole first floor home with private entries and porches. The home is beautiful, it has quality finishes and furnishings. Loved the kitchen, bathroom and the bedroom has a very comfortable bed. Betsy even had the home decorated with a Xmas tree and candles, there was coffee, spices and more in the kitchen. It’s a great place and I plan on returning when I come to the Boston area. It’s an easy walk to the commuter rail that takes you to the North Station. I really appreciate Betsy’s hospitality. Located just a short walk to the beach this charming cottage offered the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for my whole family. The spacious cottage was clean and very well designed with everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a fully equipped kitchen and cozy living area with modern amenities. The hosts, Elia and Rob, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating and we hope to visit again soon. I would highly recommend True North Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near the beach and scenic, downtown Newburyport.

We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here. The river really is right down the street. Our dog loved her walks. If you're traveling in the fall, it's so beautiful and the wood burning stove made for cozy days and nights. The neighbours were friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the washer and dryer was a convenient addition. In the back room, there's a spacious desk which made working from home during the trip a breeze. Thank you Peter.
