Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Whether you are just passing through or booking for a fishing tournament, coming to town to do some hunting, we have you covered! We have a huge turnaround and parking for your boats. We are less than 2 miles from Lakepointe Marina and other drop ins to the lake. We are minutes from Spring Hill and surrounding areas for all of you that are coming to hunt. 3 miles from the historic town of Eufaula with restaurants and amenities. We are pet friendly! But we do not clean up after your pets.

Bring the whole fam to this charming cabin on the lake for scenic views, water adventures, some of Alabama's best fishing, or simply to explore the historic town of Eufaula. Our home has 3 bedrooms but sleeps up to 10 comfortably. Enjoy the screened in porch or lake front deck after spending your day on the dock. The interior is filled with locally milled eastern red cedar and reclaimed barn wood. The cabin is convenient to Providence Canyon and Lake Eufaula.

Take it easy at this tranquil Walter F George lake getaway. A large hut for fish and wild game cleaning makes for a unique backyard treasure. Plenty of room to back boat and trailer right up and unload your catch. Relax around the fire pit, grill or just chill. Located in a community that allows golf cart/4 wheelers, so your are welcome to bring yours. A mile to Hardridge Creek State Park, and close driving distance to Thomas Mill Creek and White Oak.
