Experiences & Services liability insurance

Experiences & Services liability insurance (“ELI Program”), a part of AirCover for Hosts, provides Hosts with $1 million in coverage in the rare event you are found legally responsible for a guest getting hurt or their belongings being damaged or stolen during an Airbnb Experience or Service. People who help you host, like Co-Hosts, are also included, so you can feel confident hosting on Airbnb.

Airbnb requires that all Experience and Service Hosts maintain liability insurance appropriate for their business. Based on the type of Experience or Service you want to host, you may be required to provide proof of licensure and/or insurance as part of the submission process. When insurance maintained by an Experience or Service Host applies to a claim, the ELI Program provides coverage to the extent the claim exceeds the Experience or Service Host’s insurance limits.
