Relax in this unique and quiet home located only 15 min from Östersund and 25 min from Åre/Östersund airport. 1h drive to Åre or Bydalen. The cottage is located on the south-facing shore of the Great Lake. Linen and towels is included in the price. Friggebod with 4 extra beds. Canoe and wood-fired hot tub are available to rent for an additional cost and as agreed. Firewood is not included in the price. Available for purchase at, for example, gas stations. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful little cottage. Here you live right next to the lake below our farm with the cows grazing outside the knot. Access to both sauna and barbecue area, and canoe for those who want to take a paddle trip out on the lake. Note: No running water in the cabin, thus no bathroom. Water can be found in cans in cabin. Newly built outdoor toilet overlooking the lake and mountains! Hot plate, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, TV, etc., available to use. Warm welcome!🌞

Our modern log house is situated right on a lakeshore. The open-concept design with lots of wood and light creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.

Something happens to us when we take the time to just be. To live the little primitive life for a while without having to thumb on all the comforts. To let go of everyday life, put down the cell phone and let yourself be spoiled by what is around. Light a fire, paddle a canoe, look out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed, where even the beavers can swim by sometimes, brew coffee and cook over an open fire.
