The cottage belongs to the 19th century Smedjan, which named the road. 200 meters from the cottage is the hometown farm which offers guided tours and various activities. There is also the church ruin from the Middle Ages. Below is the water park and beach. Vallstigen, a beautiful hiking trail starts from here. Please keep in mind that the house has an open floor plan between all levels which makes privacy a bit limited. Here you come in the first place to relax and rest up. But if you want to do things, there are many options! Winter is usually very snowy. Hassela Ski Resort is close by car, about 15 minutes. The hot tub closed under -15gr.
