John and Rick are the loveliest hosts!! They are so welcome and just as described, welcome you to whichever degree you’d like to socialize and utilize their spaces like the patio, kitchen, etc. The garden patio is majestic. The breakfast layout is beautiful as well. They are the most accommodating hosts I’ve encountered- very highly recommended!!

Quiet, convenient location with a nice host and easy access to so much. A couple of blocks from the Metro with super easy access to everything in DC and same line as Union Station which made it easy to visit with Amtrak. Close to shopping, restaurants, American U., etc. Would stay here again.

All the 5 star ratings are correct - the Mitchell house is fantastic and you should book right away if it is available. This is more like a bed and breakfast rather than a completely independent Airbnb. I traveled solo, staying in one room and sharing the rest of the house with Phil and his other guests. The host was helpful, easy-going and attentive to any requests. The made-to-order breakfasts were fabulous and plentiful. The house is older, but charming, comfortable and quiet. I controlled the AC/fan in my room, which worked very well. There are many restaurants, Target, etc and the Metro within 10-15 minute walking distance. The house is also a short walk to AU or pick up the Wonk bus 2 blocks from his home (if you know how). Phil has hosted hundreds of guests who are repeat customers and someday I hope to be one of them.

Lucia’s place was well worth cost. I Lucia in person the morning I was checking out. She greeted me with breakfast and coffee. Lucia has a very pleasant and peaceful soul. I will definitely book with Lucia again.

Wonderful B&B close to Adam's Morgan, Kalorama, DuPont Circle. Best for solo travelers or couples. Very clean, private rooms. Excellent and attentive staff. Will stay here again!

The BnB was lovely and the hosts were kind & hospitable. The extra touches (cookies, charcuterie board/wine) were very nice. The breakfast was very tasty, plentiful and presented beautifully. I look forward to visiting again and/or visiting their new Annapolis property. Thanks, Michelle & Howard

Zoya is an unbelievable host who is an amazing cook!! She is very kind and responsive whenever I had a question. The house is very beautiful and it’s in a very good and quiet neighborhood.

Lipi was an amazing host. I booked this place for my dad and it was the perfect location. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was spotless too. Lipi was very responsive and flexible to work with a last minute booking. She was warm and kind, and provided very clear instructions for the stay. I’d definitely recommend to choose her place, it’s very close to the IAD airport as well as many restaurants.

Staying at Kathleen and Carl's home was a true joy! It is a wonderful home nestled into a serene, beautifully natural area. It is hard to believe it is so close to the DC metro area. We had a great time walking the gravel roads and listening to bird songs. Enjoying a spring evening on the porch, watching the sun set and hummingbirds flying up to the feeder, was also a highlight. Having a kitchen was important to our stay, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - and our generous hosts had also stocked it with eggs, butter, juice, bread, etc. Kathleen and Carl were incredibly hospitable and kind hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we need and enjoyed our stay.
