Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Fairfield

This is such a hidden gem! You can hear one thing in the mornings: birds chirping. There is a great deal of wildlife that can be seen. This is literally the perfect place to get away, and it’s easy to decompress. This is definitely a place we will be visiting again! Not only is the place perfect, the owners are genuinely friendly and warm. That is not very common, and we certainly appreciated it!

This is the sweetest little Airbnb. It is well decorated, the bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, quality, knives and pans makes cooking easy. The space is warm and cozy. The host goes above and beyond, even providing products such as, Aesop soaps and lotions. Overall an excellent place to stay if you find yourself in the little town of Fairfield Iowa

We were visiting the downtown area of Fairfield and this was walking distance, Home was comfortable and had all the conveniences. The only issue was that to get upstairs to the upper bedroom, the stairs were steep and there was no handrail so difficult for older people. Would stay thee again

Having grown up in Van Buren county I was beyond excited to find such a great looking and cute place to stay! I was in town for the annual Forest Craft Festival but also to see family and friends. This home is an easy walk to downtown Keosauqua. Granted it is not a big town but everything is within a short walk or drive. I had a small issue trying to figure the heat out, it was operator error, and within 5 minutes of reaching out there was a knock at the door. Sonya’s place may become the location for an annual HS friend get together. Thank you for the lovely home!

Had a very comfortable and cozy stay at Isaac's home! Because of bad weather between here and home in MO they extended our reservation and extra night. Appreciated that!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the home. It's a lovely old home and we loved our stay there.

The place is fantastic. Even includes a kitchen and tv and heaters which I didn’t see in the pictures. I had a good time and they were nice and friendly. Basically all I needed and more. Very nice cat there too, I don’t know if it was theirs or not but I saw it in the patio.

Poppy's Place is lovely! We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean, bathrooms pristine, kitchen well appointed. The beds were great - very nice mattresses with comfy sheets and blankets. Plenty of towels and extra linens were available if needed. We were able to park in the garage, which is a real perk for a rental. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, very near a Dollar General for quick supplies. Dixie was super responsive and left excellent directions regarding check in and check out. We would definitely stay here again!

Communication with Joe and Linda was fantastic, from the time of reservation, till the time of checkout. The condo was very nice. Clean and set up with everything you would need. We highly recommend and would stay there again, next time we're in the area.

This was genuinely the best stay I have ever had in my life. Better than any hotel, or any type of stay. The host had very clear instructions, after we checked in we were just left to ourselves! The cabin is beautiful. Peaceful. With great water streams nearby, and the Des Moines River. Incredibly quiet. Easy to access. The place was perfectly clean, with every little thing we would have wanted. All we had to do was bring some groceries, and everything fell into place. Just as described. A nice week of turning our phones completely off, and just exploring the local towns. Who says you can't vacation in small town Iowa? I highly recommend this place. Worth every Penny!

This place was immaculate and cozy! Amanda was a super host for sure. The only I could say about the location was that the houses were close together so not much privacy. Overall a 5 star rating and well worth what we paid! Would definitely recommend!!!

Description was accurate. The place is gorgeous. We had a wonderful peaceful time for our anniversary. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. Had amenities we did not think of. Wonderful. We would stay again.

Sandy's comfortable place is in a perfect location for enjoying downtown Washington, Iowa. It made our visit even more enjoyable.

Wow, the house is even better than the pictures. It is a very spacious home with a fenced in backyard that just keeps going. The amenities were better than expected. Clint was such a great host, he had the house ready and lights on (we arrived after dark). The kitchen is stocked with just about anything you may need. Our dogs loved the very large backyard and the neighbors even came to say hello when we were outside. We highly recommend this place to anyone, as long as they respect it as if it was their own home. When we are back in the Fairfield area, this is the first place we will look for.
