Vacation rentals with a patio in Fairy Hill

Sangela and Jason were welcoming and friendly hosts. They were attentive to any requests and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in our stay. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone coming to Portland. The villa is beautiful with excellent views. It had all the comforts of home. AND more!!!! The hosts went above and beyond with their attention to detail here. The site is very safe and secure!!! A perfect location for accessing cook shop/attractions/town (or an ICE CREAM ;). I recommend a visit to Somerset Falls/The Rio Grande/Winifred Beach/Frenchman's cove/Blue Lagoon/and of course Boston Bay Beach and Jerk Center as well as a fish dinner (close by) at Likkle Portie. Endless amounts of Fun things to do, relaxation, and great new friends to be made! Don't hesitate to book this one!!! Caleva was amazing with communication on any issues that arose and even info on the community. Shemar was sooo helpful on site and truly a GEM. The area is developing so if you rent a car get an SUV for the roads but once you get used to that it's easy. It's quiet, relaxing and simple. Loved it and will likely book again.

This is such a lovely place in the hills just near port antonio town. The views are breathtaking and you will see so many different landscapes depending on the weather. The apartment is well fitted, clean and very comfortable. For the first 2 nights there were two of us and for the next 2, it was 4 - we all had plenty of space and were comfortable. The local community are friendly and helpful and there are lots of food options, shops etc within close reach. Jasti and Deme (and their family) are wonderful people - made us feel so at home. You can tell they put love and care into hosting from how the apartment is furnished and things like supplying beach towels. I would say this is more of a vintage jamaica experience, you will hear birds and chickens for example. There are a few steps to climb to access the amazing views, which is well worth it. I 100% recommend and look forward to staying again some day. Thank you for having us.

Everything was great. Thank you Andrea for being a great host. We had no hot water upon check in and she sent someone literally within 5 minutes. Walkable, right next to a minimart, quiet and safe. The only thing I noticed was the lack of curtains for the tiny window in the bathroom. Otherwise, a clean place with everything you can ask for!

This place is astonishingly beautiful. Driving up the hill, it is hard to imagine what awaits you. A 180 degree view of the sea, surrounded by the lush Jamaican landscape, filled with birdsong and a gentle breeze. It is hard to capture in words or photos. The food, much of which is prepared from produce grown on the property, is extraordinary. But it is not just the view or the landscape or the food. Shirley is an amazing host. Her genuine and generous spirit is obvious from the moment you meet her through to the moment you leave. Many places aim to promote wellness but in reality seem to use it as a marketing tool. This is the kind of place that inspired the term. I feel immensely grateful to have been able to stay here. And I hope to come again soon.

Very nice, clean home. Hosts very friendly and caring, attended promptly to, and quickly resolved any issues . If ever in need of accommodation in that area, will definitely use again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marvalyn’s place it exceeded our expectations because it bigger in person than it did in the photos and the photos were obviously appealing before hence why I booked it. The place was clean, spacious, homely and in a good location with plenty of Portland’s hidden gems either walking distance or a short drive away. Marvalyn communicated very well and politely with me and I likewise paid her back the same respect. Marvalyn’s beach way casa is located in the beautiful fairy hill community of Portland which has plenty shops, bars, places to eat all within good walking distance if you like to walk. Jacqueline was also very friendly and helped us with access and use of the laundry and also refilled the necessities we needed like toilet paper and bin bags. I would definitely stay here again and I intend too!! I felt at home it was sad to go. Big up Portland, Big Up Fairy and Big Up Miss Marvalyn nuff love! 🇯🇲🙌🏽

Wonderful stay!! The host was super responsive and accommodating. The space was cozy, warm and inviting. The real highlight was the stunning ocean and mountain views. We spent hours taking it all in. Of course Bambi was a sweet bonus - what a loving and friendly little pup. Donna made sure we felt right at home. Highly recommend.
