Or why not take a paddle tour or boat trip in the Baltic Sea/Ellenösjön – canoes/kayaks are available to borrow. There are also plenty of wild animals such as elk, deer, deer and wild boar in the nearby area.

The days may be spent in the woods and nature, or with the canoe that is available in the lake. Once home, you might light the wood stove and let your thoughts wander over the day's events.

Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.
