Monthly Rentals in Fatehpur Sikri

We went as guests on 29 Mar 2025 and left on 2 Apr 2025 as family friends. The food and care by Indu (Ashok's wife) was great and welcoming. When we had to leave early for the birding she packed us breakfast. We fell in love with her sweet lime pickle and she gave us some to take away when we left! Shekhar helped us plan on alternate transport for departure after 4 days to jaipur on the day we arrived - as we did not want to go to bharatpur railway station again after our experience arriving there. He introduced us to Neugo an electric bus service which picked us up just near their place. He came to the bus stop with us and made sure we were in the right place to board. Ashok was knowledgeable on birds and his story as we heard from Shekhar is a fantastic one of how in his early years he was with salim ali, then became a nature guide. We learnt of their ancestral elation to Bharatpur and Ashok's international travels preCovid. Lots of hollyhock and other flowers in their garden.

Mukesh and his brothers are lovely hosts. The farm stay is just delightful and a must visit. The birds and the greenery in the surroundings are heavenly. Perfect destination if you are escaping the city. Chander makes the most delicious food you can ever find in all of Bharatpur. We were so well taken care of and definitely coming back again in season. Thank you so much for having us.

Had a lovely stay at the Serene Farmhouse Escape in Agra. The place was exactly as shown in the photos – clean, peaceful, and surrounded by lush greenery. The lawn was especially beautiful and perfect for relaxing evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary items, which made our stay even more comfortable. It's a great spot to unwind, enjoy the sunset, and feel close to nature while still being within the city. Highly recommend for a calm getaway!
