Our weekend at this truly beautiful and magnificent location. John is a great host, really lovely and easy to chat to. We really enjoyed his stories and sharing how our stay was going. Our days were filled with beauty and magic, all the little touches made a huge difference. Sitting in the spa, wandering to the waterhole, lazing on the grounds, games by the fire and cooking dinner on the bbq. We wandered into bellingen markets and also explored viewpoints and walks. So stunning! It was absolutely the most perfect weekend away. Would love to go back! Thanks again John, many fond memories 🧡

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! The owners were super responsive in regard to any questions we had prior to arrival as well. The cottage was extremely clean and lovely to stay in. The hot tub was definitely a hit for us as this was super relaxing and enjoyable with the rain we had throughout our stay! We also loved the thoughtfulness they put in by including bread, eggs and milk upon arrival in the fridge for us to use!! The cottage was located beside the lake and had beautiful views to look at and was super peaceful and quiet! My husband and I will definitely be back to stay again, and will be telling our friends and family about this place!

Great place to relax and unwind with complete privacy! Outdoor bath is unreal to star gaze or watch the setting sun from! Plenty of space to play some lawn games, enjoy the peaceful nature outlook and even have a dip in the creek! Comfortable unit with full kitchen which I always appreciate! It was a very nice secluded place. We had asked if we could check in early and they kindly let us. The place was spotless and very inviting.

We really loved staying here, it had luxurious finishes with a homey cottage feel. The kitchen was well stocked with chef quality knifes and cookware, had all the basics needed to cook with, plenty of coffee and other amenities provided. Was the first Airbnb in many years that we didn’t have to go buy something for. Generous and very welcoming, highly recommend.

We loved Sam’s place! The home is very charming- tastefully renovated, clean, spacious for our family of 4. The view from the deck over the paddocks is spectacular. Sam and his wife were extremely friendly and welcoming- they arranged laundry detergent as soon as we asked for it, showed us around their place, and introduced us to their cows, guineapigs, dogs and chicken. Overall a five star experience, highly recommended!

Above and beyond. Stephen and Jude really put 110% in hosting their Airbnb. It's something you don't see often. The place was sweaky clean, which is hard to believe for a place that hosts so many pets! The attention to detail is impeccable, it's well stocked, and they provided a few treats for us and our doggo. The property is beautiful and the cabin is cosy. We spent a few days working there and had no issues with internet, even with video calls. Thanks so much for having us!

My husband and had the pleasure of spending a week at the cottage to relax and rejuvenate after a very busy month. The location is perfectly serene and peaceful. Our hosts were very responsive and ensured that the cottage was well stocked. Everything we needed was there, and Sam assured us that if we needed anything that she could help us out. The fully fenced yard was thoroughly enjoyed by our labradoodle. She had fun trying to figure out exactly what the fluffy animals with beards and horns were all about (friendly goats). We loved the space that offered a range of views and areas to relax and read in. We also enjoyed the walks and the peaceful sounds of nature, including the soothinfg sound of the rapids from the surrounding creeks (there had just been a lot of rain and plenty of water flowing). I highly recommend anyone who wants to spend time in nature with all the luxuries of a comfy bed, cozy fire pit and a clawfoot tub to take the time to escape to the valley cottage.

We were not able to stay at Anna’s due to the cyclone. She was very great at communicating with updates and was very flexible options for rebooking.

The cottage is very cute and cosy. The host clearly loves her garden which makes a lovely outlook, and the neighbourhood is very quiet. It’s a short drive to all the beaches in Valla and the two cafes. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and crisp. The house is full of little friendly touches which add personality. It was a great base for visiting family who live nearby and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Valla. A very pleasant place to stay.

This was our second stay at Skye - enjoyed it as much as the first (if not more, because we booked an extra night this time). Water was the perfect temperature for a couple of swims (half hour drive to beautiful Hat Head). Great option if you want some quiet time away.

We loved staying at this cosy cottage with our kids. The farm and surrounds are beautiful and there were plenty of local places to explore. Hugh and Janniene went out of their way to make us feel welcome and show us their farm. We really appreciated the kids toys, fireplace and beautiful outlook. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

We had a wonderful stay at Margaret’s place! It’s right on the beach, offering a fantastic ocean breeze that made our experience even more enjoyable. The essentials are all provided, though I’d recommend bringing your own towels (including hand towels), extra bedding, and any additional kitchen supplies you might need. Overall, a great spot for a Wooli getaway with the family!

Candy and John are delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is clearly a well thought out renovation success that is comfortable (I love a comfy bed especially) and over and above was provided which you don’t often get with other hosts. My husband thinks he’d like to retire in the area and we currently live on the other side of the country so they stay has clearly been a memorable one 🙂

Absolute beachfront magic just as described! We loved staying in this home, and that’s what it was, a home!! Cozy, and had everything we needed to bbq, cook and chill out. Perfect base for surfing, hanging on the river, getting to the pub and right next to a cute little café! Couldn’t have been a better holiday! Cheers, Helen.

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin! The cabin was spacious, airy and well decorated. The location was amazing and the nature was beautiful. Sharon and her husband Bill were really helpful and kind. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed at Aline’s place after 5 days of camping over Easter and it was just what we were looking for, peaceful, off grid, and super comfortable. The place had everything we needed, the bath outdoor was just amazing, and the creek, despite the rain, was a gorgeous spot. It was definitely an adventure for us, being transported with the tractor because the rain had risen the water level too high we couldn’t cross with the car, it was fun! 😀 something to remember for sure. Aline was super responsive and the direction to get there were super easy, and both her and Eppie were such a lovely host, always insuring we had what we needed. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place for your next trip, we really recommend this, because even though it almost rained the whole time, this place has still so much to offer. We had a lovely stay! The place was set in a peaceful area, perfect for a quiet getaway. It was clean, tidy, and had great amenities for families, including a nice selection of board games. Would definitely stay again!

Great little airbnb. Nice and close to scotts head. Decent sized place and was extremely clean. Hosts even left us some choccy and a bottle of wine upon arrival. Highly recommend!
