I enjoyed staying in this peaceful retreat located in the forest. I appreciated the location as it was easy to get to Freeland and central to the rest of the island for the activities I had planned for the weekend. Our stay at Amy and Dans place far exceeded our expectations. They are so warm and friendly and extremely welcoming as well. They offered help if we needed it as my husband has walking issues. They were super attentive. I absolutely loved sitting on the private deck and the view is lovely.

The decor and atmosphere of the cabin was so artsy and fun, and the hosts were kind and helpful. The cabin was super cozy and had just enough amenities—a huge step above camping but charming and grounded in the natural environment. It was a perfect spot to spend extended time in, or to unwind at the end of a long day exploring.

Quiet, comfortable, and accessible.. my only wish, is that I could have stayed longer! Definitely coming back here, you won’t be disappointed. Exactly as advertised!

Martha and her husband were so nice even though we only seen them twice during our week stay. Both times Martha was super friendly and knowledgeable. there were beautiful views from the back yard of the property and right down the road aswell. my girlfriend and i had a great time exploring the Olympic national park and whole peninsula from her place. we will definitely be back to this amazing state and would stay here again in the future. Thank you again.

The location had a peaceful and quiet neighborhood where we felt safe and at home, with a private and secure parking for our vehicle. The view was stunning and something that was enjoyed from the bed the moment we woke up. the residence had plenty of notes and tips layed out perfectly around the unit, in the evening we enjoyed a romantic setting with the living room fireplace and yard lights strung out which shined a shade of ease from the windows. highly recommend 👌

Jennifer’s cottage far surpassed our expectations! This was a perfect stay. Jennifer was flexible with the check-in time. She was welcoming and responsive. I am sorry we did not get a chance to meet in person. We were given access to a locked shed to keep our rental bikes. The fresh coffee and French press were appreciated. The cottage was beautiful and just the right size for 2 of us. It felt like home and was so relaxing. Easy to walk to Fairhaven with all the shops and restaurants. The trail system was amazing, so easy to hike and walk about. We can’t wait to stay at Jennifer’s place again, and again, and again!!

I stayed here while we were going through mold remediation at our house. It was very clean, quiet and relaxing. Good location for my activities. I would stay here again if I needed.

The cottage was perfect! It was exactly as the listing showed plus some more! We had a wonderful stay. Spent mornings down at the river and it was so relaxing. This is a beautiful little spot with lots of small details making the stay that much better. If back in the area i would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I loved this quiet studio! It is the ideal respite in Anacortes. You get to be minutes from the marina, minutes from delicious food, and you get to sleep and wake up as the sun rises with the beautiful natural light from the skylights. The kitchen is stocked to get you ready for making your own simple meals, and the shower is right for all those of you looking for some pampering. I slept like a baby and woke up right and ready to go watch orcas!

Easter weekend spent at the “cabin” was one to remember. We were in awe of the beauty of this cabin and its surroundings- such beautiful panoramic ocean views and large trees, and large yard for our son to play in. We loved having almost all our meals outside, using the bbq, picnic table and fire pit with the beautiful spring weather. Very beautiful spot to stay regardless of your purpose of travel, but especially if you want a place to escape and relax! Also so close, 10-15 mins to beautiful deception state park with beaches, trails etc to explore. Would love to come again and even for longer so we can have more relaxing at the cabin mixed with adventure.

Susie and Brian were gracious hosts. Their space was cozy and peaceful. The perfect spot for a quick getaway! We will return.

Staying with Rick was like staying with a good friend you haven’t seen in a long time. The cabin is super cute and has its own private dog yard. Rick is incredibly accessible and friendly. I only wish we had more time to hang out with him and his cute pup Chompski. They are the consummate hosts! When we come back to Whidbey, we will definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect place to get away and enjoy gorgeous water views while being a short drive to a number of interesting places. One of our favorite things was being able to eat diner on the balcony and watch the sunset. We definitely hope to stay here again.

We just had the most relaxing and memorable stay at Rick’s property. The amount of love he’s poured into his place and the ways he intentionally makes you feel cared for as a guest are so special and rare. From the moment we connected to meeting him in person, we’ve never had a more generous and kind host (and I say this as a well-traveled, frequent AirBnB guest). Rick’s place is immaculately clean. He has thought of every detail and even treated us to snacks, wine, and more which were truly above and beyond. From luggage racks to extra blankets to quality pillows to having a fan (my husband needs white noise to sleep), we were so impressed! The views and sunset are absolutely stunning and Rick’s place lets in a ton of natural light, while still respecting your privacy. My review doesn’t do the property or Rick’s hosting justice, but all of this is to say that we had an amazing stay and are already planning our return! I wish we could this 10 stars! Thank you for having us, Rick!

This cute spot was wonderful. It was private, and was close enough to town that it didn’t feel like you were completely isolated. Beautiful view of the stars at night, and close to Olympic National Park as well. Julie was a wonderful host!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Upon entering, we found a card along with a bouquet of tulips and a bottle of wine. We felt so welcome. The place was much bigger than expected and extremely clean and comfortable. beautiful natural light came through the skylights, and the place is filled with wonderful art and books. It was very private and quiet, and we loved being surrounded by nature. We hope to return soon!

Cute converted garage apartment. Tammy is very nice and was helpful during our stay. Convenient location to Seattle, lots of good food close to the house.

Trisha’s place was just what we needed for our mini getaway. We received all the information we needed before checking-in. Our stay was very pleasant

Even though I arrived a little after 9 PM, Don was very welcoming and greeted me and showed me around the cabin. Everything was really wonderful. They were very respectful of my privacy. The bed was especially comfortable and having the little gas stove in the living room was nice.

Linger Longer is our home-away-from-home when we visit our grandson. We love our cottage and having James and Marge on-site if we need assistance.

Really great place. 10/10 would recommend! It’s a great place to disconnect and recenter.
