Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Floresta

We have been using Airbnb for many years now, so when we meet very good hosts we recognise them straight away. Agatino is naturally able to make you feel welcome, the villa is very elegant and the garden is very well maintained with a very nice view of the vignard. Nothing was missing inside the house and we actually didn’t know that breakfast was included, so a nice bonus. In other words we only stayed two nights but we wish we had stayed longer.I hope we will have a chance to come back again.

Benny is an incredible host. We had a wonderful two days there. His place is in a great location and we loved everything about it! We also went to CutìLuDissi which is his and his business partner’s restaurant. It is located right where everything is happening and the entire meal was delicious. We can’t wait to go back!🇮🇹

A really beautiful and confortable home with a lovely hostess! Laura's home is beautifully decorated with an amazing scented garden with a view. Perfectly situated in the old Taormina, 20 meters from Porta Catania to which you enter the main street, Corso Umberto, full of shops, restaurants, and many churches to visit. A very pleasant walk in the morning when not too busy to discover the beautiful architecture of the town, stop off for breakfast then visit the Teatro Antico. The view is fabulous. If you walk to the end of Corso Umberto just after Porta Messina, take the cable car down and visit the small Mazzaro beach. Have an expensive but worthwhile drink at the Villa Sant'Andrea hotel, stunning and lovely staff. On Laura's suggestion and help for the reservation, we had a wonderful diner at Casa Niclodi, a must! We can't wait to return and visit more the surroundings, but Laura's home is hard to leave! Thank you Laura for your very warm welcome, you really made us feel at home.

The apartment was a great option for us to stay long-term in Sicilia outside the bigger cities but still close. We enjoyed our stay so much as it is calm with a beautiful view from the balcony, a fireplace inside and so many cozy corners. The flat has everything you need, is well equipped (really enjoyed the beamer for movies and the sound system for music) and Angelo was always so helpful. Acireale has very nice cafés and restaurants and after some days you get familiar with the surroundings and staff starts greeting you as it becomes a regular place. The station is a bit far but nontheless we enjoyed the walk there and so many other cities and places (including Etna, Catania…) are reachable within minutes or hours from there.

Wir (vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Salvos Apartment. Die Lage am Hafen ist einfach großartig, es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus und viele Möglichkeiten zum einkaufen und essen gehen. Danke, dass wir deine Gäste sein durften.

The house was great, and the gardens and grounds with pool were absolutely outstanding, with the most wonderful views of the coastline, and easy access to Mount Etna too, I would definitely come again (when the weather is warmer!). Our Host, Vanessa, was absolutely wonderful and was incredibly proud of her home country and the local area, and was super responsive for anything we needed.

Vincenzo's property is a really great and quiet place where you can base yoyrself to visit this part of Sicily. Taormina us really close as is Catania ! Vincenzo is super friendly and offered to help us as much as we wanted of the lemons and oranges that grow on his land. Nice shot of vitamin c in the morning.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le jardin est très agréable. L’emplacement est idéal pour explorer le parc de l’Etna. Accueil parfait et excellente communication.

This place is super clean and cozy, with a terrific view of both the Etna volcano and the seashore. You could have both shimmering dots along the coast and the flaming mountain summit - if you're lucky enough. The supermarket is easy to reach and the airbnb is close to the city center. Chiara is super reliable and responds quickly. Angela is super nice as well. I would definitely recommend this house to you!

We had a great time on your apartment- would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a high quality retreat. The apartment is located in walking distance to down town aci Trezza and has an amazing view of the ocean. It was great to have private parking as we wouldn’t have felt too comfortable having the rental car on the side of the road. Niky was fast to respond if we had any questions regarding the apartment or the area. One thing we would recommend is having firewood for the indoor fireplace at hand for future visitors- as spending time looking for right kind of firewood could have been avoided. Thank you for a great time!

I can’t say more good things about Sabrina’s place. We practically lived out on the balcony but the interior was also beautiful, immaculate, clean, and carefully curated with beautiful and local decor. We lived in a dream this week! Sabrina was also extremely communicative and provided great recommendations as well! She gave us a tour when we arrived and was so pleasant. Check out was made so easy having to do nothing with sheet or trash too. The pull out couch was made when we arrived and is in the bed room, allowing for the living room couches to still be used. It was comfy, cozy, and had everything we needed. Including an unbeatable view and balcony. Grazie millie!!!

Nous avons séjourné pendant une semaine à 6 personnes dans la partie a l étage de la maison. L appartement ne correspond pas tout à fait aux photos puisqu une chambre a été ajoutée dans le salon … mais la pièce de vie reste très spacieuse. Il n y avait pas de volets ( et pas de rideaux opaques dans le salon) ce qui est dommage quand on dort dans le salon et que le soleil se lève a 6h … et surtout pour couper du soleil quand il y fait très chaud . La cuisine n était pas suffisamment équipée plutôt rustique Heureusement que Sonia s est montrée réactive à nos demandes. La Clim était indispensable mais n est pas assez performante pour rafraîchir les chambres. Je dirais que l appartement vaut le coup pour la terrasse et la vue sur Taormina et la tranquillité s il y a du monde au rdc ( cet appartement doit être plus adapté pour un long séjour) .les extérieurs sont vraiment magiques et très appréciables en période de canicule ils sont d ailleurs très bien entretenus .

If Sicily was an apartment - this would be it. It is lovely, very well decorated and gives you the full sicilian feeling. The terrace is very useful, you have the view on the sea and the mountains and it is large enough for all activities. Private and gated parking in front of the building, very easy to park safely. The host had all of the qualities of a good host - on time, responsive, willing to help, even gave us a small gift for easter. If you come here you will have a nice apartment, a friendly host and a good experience overall.

What a view!! This place was great. Plenty of space for the four of us. Clean and comfortable too. The kitchen was very well equipped. Many, many stairs and an uphill walk to get to town, but lots to do and places to eat when you get there! A+

Sono stata a casa di Francesca per una settimana. La casa è in una posizione perfetta, vicinissimo a lidl, supermercati e centri commerciali. Distante solo 10 minuti in macchina dal centro di Catania (per il tipo di viaggio che avevo in mente io è stata una casa perfetta) in più è leggermente rialzata su una collinetta, e nelle calde giornate di agosto abbiamo avuto il piacere di respirare un po' di aria fresca! a 15 minuti dalla casa si trovano anche delle bellissime zone di mare (come "le grotte di Ulisse"). Francesca è molto disponibile e aperta al dialogo! nel complesso un'esperienza positiva!!

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

Villa Lenzo is gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Veel privacy op de locatie. Het dorpje Ferla is met de auto in 5 minuten te bereiken. Daar zijn een paar restaurantjes te vinden en ook een Coop supermarkt. Het is een must om het diner bij Quattro Canti te nuttigen. Traditionele gerechten en de pizza Etna is een aanrader! Verder zijn er een bakker en slager te vinden. In de directe omgeving vind je Pantalica. Een prachtig gebied om tussen de rotsen en langs de rivier een wandeling te maken. Maar je hoeft er niet per se op uit. Heerlijk van de zon genieten bij de villa met af en toe een heerlijke plons in het schitterende zwembad. Er is ook een grote gas BBQ aanwezig om lekker bij de villa een hapje te eten. Voor de sportivelingen is er een tafeltennistafel. Wij vonden het een top locatie en de host Paola heeft ons van allerlei info voorzien om ons verblijf nog aangenamer te maken. Dankjewel Paola!! Kortom, een super locatie om helemaal bij te komen. This villa is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty, light, and flow of the space. It’s full of natural light, with a spacious layout and thoughtful interior touches that make it feel both luxurious and homey. Every room felt intentional and serene, and having plenty of bathrooms made our stay super comfortable. The yard was a dream in itself with plenty of space for yoga, breakfast on the patio, swimming, and more. Truly, we all felt like princesses in a fairytale. Paul was an exceptional host — responsive, kind, and full of local recommendations that made our trip even better. He even let us store our bikes in the garage, which was so appreciated. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly, highly recommended.

Outside the city, this location is gorgeous with magnificent views, but it would be hard to travel without our rental car. The hosts were uniquely attentive, communicative, considerate, and generous. I wish I could say the location was quiet and peaceful, but the neighbor's honking geese and relentlessly barking dogs forced us inside in the mornings. That is one of few things we would wish different, in addition to the steep front walkway and stairwell, and complex garbage rules. However, we enjoyed the luxurious pool and panoramic terraces daily. The large overhang by the pizza oven allowed us to even appreciate the rainy days. The spacious kitchen and Sicilian-styled open layout allowed for family dinners and comfortable hang-outs. Brief maintenance visits by Giuseppe and Giulia occurred at 7:00 daily, but they kindly did not enter the house. Any questions were immediately answered, and requests carefully met. Overall, we felt welcomed, cared-for, appreciated, and unfettered.

Wo soll man anfangen? Umgebung: ruhig gelegen, schöner Blick auf den Etna, mitten im Grünen. Das Anwesen an sich ist riesig, der Gastgeber lädt dazu ein, sich an seinen Feldfrüchten zu bedienen. Das Haus an sich: sehr geräumig, nicht überfrachtet mit Schnick-Schnack, aber mit Liebe geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Küche mit Herd, Ofen und Mikrowelle. Eine Dusche mit schönen heißen Wasserstrahl. Ein heimeliger Kamin im Ess-Wohnzimmer. Wir waren nur zu zweit aber auch zu viert ist jede Menge Platz. Katzen- und Hundeliebhaber freuen sich über 4 Katzen und einen nichtbellenden Hund, die auf dem Anwesen sind. Und der Gastgeber: Wirklich außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und um das Wohl des Gastes bemüht. Man merkt, das Anwesen ist sein Baby, er hält alles im Schuss, er ist proaktiv, immer erreichbar und gibt jede Menge Tipps, nimmt sich wirklich Zeit. Fast entsteht auch in kurzer Zeit ein freundschaftliches Verhältnis. Erklärte uns über 1 Stunde Pistazienernte. Immer wieder bei ihm, wenn am Etna sind.

This villa is perfect for a family stay. It’s a beautiful escape from the city, but conveniently located within an hour drive from Taormina and catania. The hospitality that Isabella and her husband showed in preparing the villa for our family’s needs and helping to coordinate activities for us to do was the icing on top of the cake. Would absolutely stay here again

An excellent apartment in a quiet secluded area if Augusta. inside was spotless and we'll arranged. Good bathroom and shower. only slight downside is the WiFi signal that barely extends beyond the living area so zero reception in the 3 bedrooms. Property is secure. Lovely pool.and separate outside bathroom. Area is quiet (apart from the barking dogs) but not much ti explore on the doorstep.

Had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! He and Giovanna were very welcoming and generous hosts, sharing local recommendations and even some home made wine! The pool was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day and the house was well placed for excursions to Etna. Thank you both for a delightful stay !
