Beachfront vacation rentals in Fondachello

My wife, 13 year old daughter and I stayed at this house for 10 days in April 2025. The house was very clean and it was appreciated that there are amenities such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, water, etc. in the house on our arrival. The beds are noted as two singles and two doubles but we felt that the bed sizes were larger. The third floor appears to have a king bed and the 2nd floor has a queen bed. Also, it is clear that the owner spent money on nice mattresses as the beds were very comfortable and hotel quality. We were very pleased with the hot water in the house. We never ran out of hot water in the shower and the water was very hot. Also, we used the washing machine and this worked well for us. The instructions and information provided by the owner were detailed and thorough. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations. We did not use the air conditioner or the heater but there are five in the house. The house was clean and we would stay here again. Thank you!

Gorgeous, gorgeous. Lovely sandy pubic beach out front, and a lovely space within. After traveling for many months, we were happy to have a good kitchen. Super quiet. A good value within the area (of wealthy resorts). The place smells very clean. Book it!

Great for a couple. From the beautiful terrace overlooking the Bay of Taormina!

Great location just steps away from a beach. The place had everything we needed! It was in a smaller quieter village along the coast about a 40 minute hike up to Taormina. It was incredibly beautiful, but definitely wear proper footwear and bring a bottle of water.

The house was incredibly clean and the host was very responsive. Dario was helpful at every stage and was an incredible host. The place was in the perfect location by the water with many great restaurants right outside. Would highly recommend!!

Best accommodation during our 4 week Sizillien trip! Unfortunately, our 8-month-old daughter got sick on our arrival, which tied us to the apartment. But that wasn't a problem because the location and view from the balcony made up for everything! You can hear the sea rustling in bed. Andrea and his family are excellent hosts! We would give 10 stars if we could! Grazie per tutto!

Leonardo and his partner are kind and helpful people, always available. The apartment, with regard to the organization of spaces and its location, was very comfortable and in line with our needs. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

Our stay in Sicily was truly unforgettable! The house had a beautiful character, filled with charming details that made it feel like a home. The garden was a stunning oasis, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm Sicilian evenings. Our host, Carlo, was exceptional—always available to answer questions and provide recommendations. The highlight of our trip was the incredible five-course Sicilian dinner Carlo organized for us, showcasing the region's delicious cuisine. Each dish was a delight! The location itself is a must-visit, with breathtaking views and rich culture all around. We felt immersed in the beauty and warmth of Sicily. Highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone looking to experience the best of the island!

Wonderful apartment, we throughly enjoyed our stay! I can honestly say the host was exceptional. Everything was made easy, they were very attentive and thorough. The views in the apartment are spectacular. We were even surprised with a gift upon leaving, 10/10!!! We will be returning - A big thank you from us !!! 🙏

Peaceful accommodation away from high streets and beachfront, but still within walking distance to both. Clean, and responsive host.

A great house in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be.

Amazing location with fantastic sea views and views of Mount Etna. We visited end of October and basically had the complex to ourselves (including the pool!). Marco was extremely helpful and very welcoming. We hired a car for the week so that we could visit the amazing beaches up and down the coast, and of course, Etna. Direct access to the sea at the bottom of the apartments is closed, but it is not far to reach via another footpath.

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s place in Sicily. Honestly, the listing doesn’t even begin to capture how special and beautiful the house is. The location is unbeatable—just seconds from the marina—and you can see the sea from almost every corner of the home. There are multiple terraces and seating areas, and the house itself is incredibly spacious. One of our favorite things was the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a real pleasure. Sergio was also super responsive and communicative throughout our stay. He left a very detailed guide full of fantastic restaurant recommendations and local tips, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

Great base location for day trips to Catania/Etna, Syracusa and Noto. Next door neighbor (Giovanni’s cousin) was extremely gracious and helpful orienting us to the area and some of the history of the house as well as Sicily. Very comfortable accommodation. Would love to visit again.

Fantastic place to stay!

When you opened the doors you looked out on the sea! It was a really nice place in a beautiful location. If you are wanting to visit Catania and Taormina this a great place between each of those cities. . It was also close to Mt. Etna. The host was also very helpful and responded right away to any need or request that we had.

Perfect place right on the beach. Perfect for a summer stay in august. Casual living, with plenty to do in august in Oliveri. Location was close to the attractions, everything walkable. A perfect spot to relax. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds comfortable. Claudio provided beach umbrellas and chairs which was great. Laundry facilities worked well. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Communication was great and hosts responsive. Thanks Claudio & Anna.

This space is amazing and right on the water that you can swim in. Not much to do in the town but a nice space that’s in between some of the bigger coastal cities. For comfort I recommend using the mosquito netting and night and opening some windows for colder air. Overall would stay again.

We had a great stay at Rosario's place! The host was extremely friendly, communication went smoothly and we received a lot of helpful information in advance. We were particularly grateful for his tips on excursions – e.g. the note to take the bus to Taormina, which has proven to be very convenient, as there are only a few parking spaces there. The house was pleasantly quiet at Easter time and in a very clean, well-kept condition. You can tell there's a lot of emphasis on comfort and cleanliness. We felt very comfortable from the first moment. The accommodation was also ideal as a starting point for excursions in the area.
