Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Fontainebleau

We (family of five) had a wonderful week in Blandy at July's house. July's parents met us on arrival and although our French is very poor they were very helpful and introduced us to the house. Through the week July was always quick to respond and kind in helping us with any questions. The house is a lovely home, beautifully designed and with lots for all the family to do. Our children particularly enjoyed using the bicycles, playing pool and relaxing in the hammocks and garden. Blandy is a very quiet and pretty village and we had a fantastic meal eating at the restaurant L'entourloupe adjacent to the tower. There is also a great takeaway pizzeria in the village, a small shop, another restaurant and a boulangerie. We found lots to do in the area including a day in Paris using the fast train from Melun (free parking at the municipal swimming pool), a day at Fontainebleu, and a picnic down at the banks of the Seine. We would happily recommend July's home to others.

Very cozy and special cabin with all you need! I felt right at home, and it goes without saying that it is nicely located for climbing. Unfortunately I had to leave early for personal reasons, hope to be back soon!

Excellent stay in Barbizon with our hosts Benoît and Imane. The little house is surrounded by nature, bathed in light, the garden is peaceful, our two children loved playing there. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops and hikes in the forest. Our hosts were very friendly and friendly, we really enjoyed the village of Barbizon, to be done again!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! The outdoor space with the garden was great for relaxing, and the kids enjoyed themselves in the games room. The barbecue was a real plus for our family evenings. The house is spacious, well-equipped and perfectly suited for a family stay. The host was very welcoming and took care to provide us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. We highly recommend this place for a holiday with peace of mind!

We had a pleasant stay at Katy's place. Very welcoming, always available and very far-sighted for us. the house, was perfect, spotless with everything we needed. Hyper-equipped kitchen, garden furniture.... We would highly recommend staying at Katy's place. We will come again

We had a great stay at Nathalie’s. It’s such a nice house in the middle of the forest. Perfect location to explore the surroundings for climbing, trailrunning or hiking. Nathalie is very helpful and hospitable. All smiles.

I rented this place for my brother and his two kids, fans of video games. They loved their stay, in line with our expectations, the arcade games but especially heroe guitar, the passage in the hot tub, quiet, and watching the game, in the net! Thanks to Alain for his responsiveness and kindness. Next time, I'll be coming with my kids 😉

We booked one night, as a stopover for a long journey. The flexible check-in time and private check-in were very pleasant. Everything was as in the pictures and it looked neat and sparkling clean. It was also very nice that you can park in front of the door, behind the fence. For us, it didn't matter much, but the ceilings are on the low side, so should you be 1.90+m from time to time. But for such a nice place with all the comforts and good value for money, that is negligible. 😉

I spent 5 days in Edna's apartment with my daughter. When we arrived Edna kindly welcomed us to provide us with all the explanations. I was able to telework without any problems. The apartment is very functional and nicely decorated. Everything is done to make you feel good.

The area is very nice and peaceful. The apartment was very well organized, easy to access and has everything you could need.

We stayed 3 nights at Sally's apartment. It is in a great location and very nice. The accommodation has everything you need to travel with a baby which is very nice. We recommend it without hesitating.

We had a lovely stay at Victoria's. The apartment was exactly as we expected. Communication was very easy and we appreciated the attention for the children (some toys left in the apartment). We highly recommend this host. Lili

Lovely bright and airy flat in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the market place - great location! Two large bedrooms, each with a double and a single bed. Comfortable lounge / diner with enough comfortable seating for our party of 4. Small kitchen but adequate for cooking and had plenty of pans, utensils etc. Up two flights of stairs so not suitable for those with mobility issues. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back one day!

We had a lovely stay for 2 with our dog. Very quiet and bright apartment, well equipped, comfortable bedding, large kitchen, large bathroom, separate toilet. Everything was perfect and we will definitely come back!

A spacious apartment in a fairly peaceful area. It was very nice to hear birds chirping in the morning :) The other occupants of the building were polite and quiet. A short walk to the Le Guichet train station and a 40-min journey to the center of Paris. Could have been a little cleaner but nothing major. Kathalyn and Romuald were helpful and quick to respond. A short walk to the edge of Orsay which has everything you could need. I highly recommend the Paris Panem bakery in town which has amazing pastries. A minor aside unrelated to the apartment -- I would not recommend the closest Franprix grocery store near the Domino's Pizza as some employees intentionally try to scam you by scanning certain items twice (check the Google reviews!). This is no reflection on the apartment, but I want to let my fellow travelers know!

Very well located apartment, 10 minutes walk from the RER station, 10 minutes by car from the FMSD training center, shops nearby, private and closed parking, the apartment complies with the photos, well equipped, just a few elements that have lived... the hosts are friendly and responsive.

Back again. As in the photos, it is always available, everything is nearby, nothing to say, I would recommend it. 🔥🔥🔥
