“Go ahead without hesitation. Of course, you need a car and go to the city of Cese (not Liberi). We stayed only one night but it was exceptional. We arrived with fresh pasta that we had made the day before and Franco offered us to cook for us because we did not have specific condiments. So we ended up eating great fresh pasta with a delicious tomato sauce bolognese prepared by Franco, as an added bonus an omelette with one of our zucchini that we had, wine, dessert and all that in addition to the welcome drink and the digestive. A great local meal because the products used are theirs. A very rich breakfast with their products. We can only recommend and encourage you to go for it. The whole family is adorable. Francesca speaks very good English, Franco a little French and Rosaria speaks only Italian, a good immersion. Also the animals around bring a plus and before leaving we could see the kids who had just been born. In short, a great experience.”

“Antonella’s house (I hesitate to call it an ‘apartment’) was a delightful surprise. It is a massive space with 3 floors consisting of a kitchen/dining area, bedrooms, games space, balcony, and small 6 seat cinema (which we loved, although you’ll need to connect a laptop to make use of it). It is like staying in a castle. Check in was easy, although beware that Google maps sends you to the wrong address. Use Apple maps instead. Our host kindly drove down and met us at Google maps incorrect address. The only downside is the lack of natural light downstairs (although the upstairs more than makes up for this with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and further off mountains). One thing that they could do is provide a dining table. We chose to cook at home to enjoy the house and ate from two small tables in the kitchen. There is also no full size forks and we had to use small pastry forks to eat with. Overall however these are minor quibbles and I’d strongly recommend this castle as a delightfully different place to stay.”
