You will be a pizza chef with me for 2 hours!! FIRST STEP I will teach you about the dough ingredients. We will make the neapolitan pizza dough, each couple will make 1 dough with the recipe for 2 people, if you are 1 person you will make it with me, So we will mix everything until it will be ready. clearly we will use an already leavened dough (it takes 10 hours to rise) but it will be very important that you understand how to make the dough!! SECOND STEP We will try the products used to make pizza. You will have a detailed explanation on the products of our land. Taste the tomato, crocché, fresh mozzarella, and olive oil. This step will help you to understand how is important to use high quality products to make the best pizza. THIRD STEP Now we have to divide the balls from the dough. I will show you the oldest way to do that. FOURTH STEP I will give you the ingredients to make an authentic Neapolitan margherita pizza. It is the most popular pizza in Italy. You will take your pizza ball, you will spread it like a real pizzachef and bake it in the wood oven. FIFTH STEP The most exciting part will be when you will eat your full pizza while I will tell you the story of Neapolitan cuisine and the genesis of the pizza in Naples and of course with a nice drink included. We will walk to the upper part of the neighborhood so you will see all the masterpieces of Neapolitan street art. Beautiful images that you can photograph. While we will walk we will talk about the most important churches and buildings. I will take you to the ancient shops where artisans have been doing their job for generations. You will immerse yourself in the heart of Naples. Here where everyone lives happily even if with many problems. That's is one of the most busy and traditional street of Naples. On our 2.5 hours Street Food Tour you'll see the highlights of the historic center of Naples and taste lots of local specialties. See some of the main sights of the city, including Via dei Tribunali, San Gregorio Armeno, Piazza Bellini, Spaccanapoli and more. While you stroll around the beating heart of Naples I’ll take you to taste the famous Tarallo a traditional snack, salty and crunch that will tickle your taste buds. Savor mouthwatering Mozzarella, stop by one of Neapolitans most famous pizzerias, from 1935, to taste the traditional fried pizza and the wallet pizza, also known as “pizza a portafoglio”. As part of our 5th savory stops, taste the real “frittatina” (fried pasta, with béchamel sauce, ham, meat and peas). It just tastes like heaven! Visit the Limoncello Factory, and taste different kinds of liqueurs. Finally, while we walk through "Spaccanapoli” taste real Italian Ice Cream and sink your teeth into local pastries such as Babà and Sfogliatella from a traditional pastry shop from 1837! STEP THREE When the dough is ready, we will roll it out in a way known only by elderly people so we will cut it to obtain the desired shape. We will make fettuccine , ravioli, taglioline exc. STEP FOUR Finally we will cook ravioli and fettuccine in the kitchen with a nice sauce. We will make tagliatelle with ragú and ravioli with the napoletan souce. All accompanied by a great drink.
