You can relax on the patio, in the hot tub, or watch the goats frolicking in the pasture while you stroll through the property.

Rose Garden Bungalow

Rose Garden bungalow is part of Creekside Arts, an collective supporting the arts in Humboldt County. As a guest your will enjoy a quiet, cozy studio cottage situated on 2 landscaped acres surrounded by redwoods, a 10 minute drive to either Arcata or Eureka. There is much to discover and experience right on the property: a library, perfect for reflection and writing; fruit trees, roses and other flowers, vegetable garden, an artist gazebo/studio, our chickens and bees, and a bocce ball court.

Nestled within the Jacoby Creek Valley, near The Humboldt Bay with easy access to Arcata and Eureka; immersed in leafy surrounds, offering a variety of hiking and walking trails, perfect for nature lovers, The Retreat ensures peace and quiet, while being only a short drive to all amenities. This spacious, warm and cozy studio apartment provides comfortable sleeping for 4, with 2 queen size beds. One bed is a comfy pillow top, the other is comfy memory foam type mattress sofa bed.

This unique place has a style inspired by the redwoods and minimalism. Wake up to the redwoods, head into town to enjoy a cappuccino at a local coffee shop, located only 15 minutes away from the Arcata Plaza, come back to enjoy a dip in the hot tub, then get a goodnights rest on our memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets and memory foam pillows. 4/20 friendly :) Property is shared with another cabin. NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.

It's located down a quiet country road that feels far away from town but is only 4 easy miles from Arcata, home of Cal Poly Humboldt, and 6 miles to Eureka. The clean and freshly decorated space has a queen-sized bed and a full-size futon-style couch. Both beds have been reported as VERY comfortable!
