Sinds 1980 runt boer Folkert de melkveehouderij waar 110 koeien gemelkt worden. Kom tot rust in de hot tub of neem een duik in de zwemvijver nabij. Ga met de veerboot een dag naar Terschelling of Vlieland. Breng een bezoek aan de hoofdstad Leeuwarden of stap op de fiets en verken de omgeving.

Wake up to the view of the dining room of a herd of horses that live in freedom, 2 pigs who make their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. However, there is a large table to play games with each other and a lovely sofa to have a glass of wine together. The apartment Út fan hús has two bedrooms with a double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen with fridge and bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment has its own entrance. From the apartment you have a wide view over the Frisian Greiden. It is located on the water where you can swim and fish. You can also use 1 or 2 person canoes, a boat and bicycles for free. The town of Sneek is a 15-minute drive away, while Leeuwarden is a 30-minute drive away.

Within walking distance of the city center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Elfstedenroute, is our rural farm. We offer you a spacious room in this rural and watery area, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/sitting area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is available. We have recently realized this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.
