the area is residential. Private indoor parking priceless. Breathtaking views and huge super equipped terrace. The sofa bed is also comfortable. Susanna is a fabulous host, available for anything, and ready to solve every little problem. The house is equipped with everything you need, including a food "survival kit" so you don't have to run shopping right away. Trieste has great drinking water that you don't need to buy. The surroundings do not offer much at the moment but the new museum center is a stone's throw away as well as the bus stop. The neighborhood is very quiet and you can see all the Skyline of Trieste. Good starting point to visit Giant Grotta and Miramare

I just spent a glorious week in Trieste at Giuliana’s apartment. It is a peaceful space in a perfect location, I do not think you can do better. If you are a tourist, the pretty waterfront area is about a ten minute walk, or you can try using the excellent bus system. The building has an elevator. Grocery stores, cafes, and a lovely park are nearby. For restaurants, try Menarosti on Via del Toro for an old-school seafood experience. The area is noisy with traffic, and even with a double set of windows, you will get some rumble, but the bedroom is on the back side of the apartment and is quiet. I think what really distinguishes this apartment is that it is Giuliana’s regular home, she steps out to accommodate guests. It means her kitchen is properly set up, the furniture makes sense, and the books and decorations reflect her taste. If you prefer an empty and anonymous space, maybe this one is not for you. I plan to return to Trieste regularly, and will try to stay here if I can.
