[Superb view of the Sea of Japan] Ocean front villa with a focus on virgin cedar/6 people
This is an oceanfront private villa with the Sea of Japan stretching out before you. Located next to the Ayukawa Beach, you can enjoy the blue sea during the day, the setting sun on the horizon in the evening, and the fishing lights and starry sky at night. This is a special location where you can experience the Sea of Japan, which changes its appearance with each season, at any time during your stay. In the building, solid cedar is used for the ceiling, floor, and all walls. Surrounded by the scent and warmth of wood, this space creates an extraordinary moment of genuine relaxation away from everyday life. You can also enjoy views of the sea and the sunset from the bath, allowing you to spend a luxurious moment while soaking in the bathtub. The accommodation is a two-storey private building. The room has four single beds on the first floor and one double bed on the second floor, and can accommodate up to six guests. There is also a terrace overlooking the sea, perfect for morning coffee or a moment at sunset. The surrounding area is also one of the top fishing spots on the Echizen coast. Recreational fishing boats depart from the Ayukawa Fishing Port right in front of the property, making it ideal for a fishing trip. In addition, we operate the Seaside Café Maure just a 3-minute drive away, so you can enjoy a BBQ without having to bring anything. We invite you to enjoy a stay at Guest House Maure surrounded by nature, the natural warmth of wood, and breathtaking views of the Sea of Japan.

A quiet and harmonious home surrounded by light and greenery | A single-storey rental with a view of the garden | Free parking for 6 vehicles | 2 toilets
Entire rental villa KOH ★ In 2026, two washrooms and toilets were renovated! This is a private, one-story, Japanese-style inn located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Fukui City. An open living room with a high ceiling overlooking the large garden and the green mountains, a tea room with a traditional irori fireplace, and a veranda facing the garden... You can enjoy a "Japanese-style space" that has become uncommon in modern times by renting the entire house. In the morning, you can enjoy the greenery of the garden, and in the afternoon, you can go sightseeing in Fukui. After returning from sightseeing, relax in the living room or chat with family and friends. In the courtyard, you can also enjoy a BBQ and let the children play in the pool. Please enjoy a space that is different from a hotel, where you can feel like you are living in a Japanese home, with your family or friends, without any worries and in a relaxed manner. The surrounding area is quiet and surrounded by nature, and since it is in the suburbs, we recommend using a car. Free parking is available (up to 6 vehicles). It is also in a location with easy access by car to popular tourist spots in Fukui. [Nearby sightseeing (by car)] ・ Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum: about 55 minutes ・ Tojinbo: about 22 minutes ・ Shibamasa World: about 23 minutes ・ Eihei-ji Temple: about 40 minutes - Takasu Beach: about 10 minutes - Mikuni Sunset Beach: about 15 minutes - Echizen Coast: about 20 minutes

Self check-in. Stay in the Samurai Ruins area!
We renovated part of a house in Ichijodani to be exclusively for private lodging. It is conveniently located for walking around Ichinotani, with nearby Asaga Kasuga Shrine, which was the Asakura family's war victory prayer place, the Asakura family ruins of Shimosakado, the Asakura family ruins museum and JR Ichinotani station, the Asakura family ruins Karamon, and the restored street. There is a firefly spot nearby, and you can also find them on the premises. There is also good access to major tourist destinations in Fukui Prefecture, such as the Dinosaur Museum, Ski Jam Katsuyama, Eihei-ji Temple, Tojinbo, Shibamasa, and the Sand Dome. There are no restaurants, supermarkets, or drug stores nearby. The convenience store is also 2.5 km away. There is a moss garden on the premises and a lawn that is not well maintained, but if the timing is right, you can enjoy a private cherry blossom viewing and snow play on the premises. Because it is a rural area, there are insects and small animals around the facility and sometimes in the room. If you cannot tolerate encountering these, please refrain from booking. The capacity is 4 people, but it feels quite small for 4 adults. No smoking in the facility, including the toilet, bathroom, and under the kitchen ventilation fan. Please refrain from cooking outside the kitchen with a portable stove, etc. License number M180031406
