We loved our stay at the cottage. Steven was extremely helpful in letting us check in early before the wedding we were attending, and gave us some helpful recommendations for local taxis and shops. The bedrooms are gorgeous with comfy beds and lots of lovely gestures such as the welcome basket. Wish we could have stayed for longer 😊 thank you Steve and Elaine

From the first moment we drove up and Cheryl welcomed us the stay was perfect! The most ideal quiet location to use as a base for a local wedding and family events! Plus saw a cat so win win :P

Beautiful and peaceful location and accommodation. The host were very friendly, welcoming and kind, and the place was clean, very well designed and wonderfully setup with everything needed. We stayed 2 weeks and never faced any issues. If we ever need anything then owners gave immediate and helpful responses. Gerald the Peacock even came by several times to see if all was ok ( whilst checking himself out in a mirror to remind himself how beautiful he was ). Our daughter was doing calving AHEMS at the local Albyns farm, and this was a great location to be based from.

Amazing place. Very close to Stansted airport. We only stay for the night so haven’t seen the surrounding village. But the place seems quite quiet with beautiful surroundings, great for a good night sleep before the flight. The property is very clean and has everything we needed. It was great to include cot. Chris gave us a lift to the airport and let us park the car during our stay. We were impressed this was even possible on a place from Airbnb. Chris was very helpful and kind. We definitely recommend this place and we will definitely use it again in the future.
