Waterfront vacation rentals in Gafanha da Nazaré

Me and my husband wanted a little break away and came across this gem! All the reviews we read prior to booking were absolutely correct! If I’m honest I don’t think the photos do this place justice, it’s a lovely apartment with fantastic views, right on the beach front. We felt right at home! The Bronze seafood restaurant just a short walk down on the beach has the best cappuccino in the world! The food was awesome and fresh too. The beach has a lovely boardwalk either side, with breathtaking views. Joao David's place was perfect for a night in Figueira da Foz area. I came through hoping to surf the famous right point (which you can see right from the apartment deck) on my way back north to Porto (after a couple months in the Algarve), but alas the conditions were quite rough and didn't line up for good surf. Nevertheless, I had a cozy stay in the stormy weather at Joao David's. The kitchen is super well equipped and though I only stayed one night, I prepared a couple great meals to take with me on the road. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has everything you need to be comfortable. Loved that you could see the ocean and check the surf conditions from the apartment. Please note the apartment is on the 4th floor (so 5 floors up) and you need to carry your bags up there (no elevator). Would definitely stay again!

Very nice hosting. Spacious and very nice apartment. On the 7th floor with open west-facing views. Small enclosed balcony with large glass window so very bright. 2 perfect bedrooms with 2 acronyms each time. Ask for double sheet. Clean and functional bathroom with toilet. Shower water flow a little low. Great location, not too far from the center with the tram. Easy to park on the street if car which was my case. All shops including supermarket 50 meters away In short, a place I would highly recommend!! 2 quick notes: The TV works on Box. The Smart TV function is not accessible. Too bad because if you don't understand Portuguese, you have to do without it (even if in a tourist trip it's not the priority) Maybe offer something to listen to music (e.g. speaker) Add 1 or 2 indirect lights in the living room as the ceiling lights are powerful.

We had a great stay. Great location for seeing Aveiro. Jorge and Beatriz were very responsive.

My stay was really pleasant. The house is very cozy and its location, close to the beach, is a real treasure. Sleeping with the sound of the bottom sea is one of those priceless little pleasures. The apartment is renovated with a modern and warm style, in addition to being impeccably clean and well organized. Adelaide was attentive at all times, which made me feel accompanied throughout the stay. I was also recommended several restaurants, something that is always appreciated, even knowing the area already. I definitely plan on repeating.

This apartment was wonderful for our ladies trip to Coimbra. We were able to walk to a close market and a wonderful restaurant where we had our favorite meal of the trip so far. Thank you for hosting us and allowing us to stay a night in your beautiful apartment.

Magnificent house almost brand new. The unbeatable location, on the beach. The bedrooms and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, there was nothing missing and the host was attentive both on arrival and during our stay. Definitely recommend 100x100 and looking forward to coming back again. An excellent place for a Costa Nova vacation.

Incredible views of the valley and really cozy home. Private and secure and easy to find. Small town nearby with some shops and a grocery store which was convenient. Incredible space for relaxation and family time after exploring the Douro Valley! Highly recommend.

We had a great time at Antonio's place. It had everything we needed and he was a great host. the place is lovely with a private garden and pool with amazing views! we will definitely come again

The house in Medas is a small private paradise in the middle of nature. a wonderful stylish retreat for all who appreciate peace and nature. Marisa is the perfect host to help you enjoy your holidays to the fullest. I can recommend the house unconditionally - we look forward to coming back soon.

everything is perfect

This place was so magical. A big group of us came to stay for a half marathon in Aveiro and it was the perfect weekend - the pool was fabulous, the pond was so meditative, the sunrises were beautiful. The rooms were all super comfortable (3 of them en-suites plus additional shared bathrooms) and the kitchen was great to cook in. We were going to have lunch in Aveiro after the race but decided to head back to chill by the pool and have a bbq because it’s such a relaxing place. Plenty of space for everyone. We even had to stay an extra night because of the nationwide blackout and João and his family were so kind and accommodating - in the end we were so grateful we got to spend an extra night in this wonderful place! Can’t recommend highly enough and would love to come back in future.

It was extraordinary! The kids really loved their stay thanks to all the care for them in the accommodation. Despite the rain, no one got bored! The place is beautiful, quiet place and so close to the city and attractions. We loved the best place to stay to date with kids.

The whole cozy cottage has all the comforts and has an AAA+ location. In the surrounding area, everything happens during the day, from fishermen who are going to sell their catch in the morning to the local church that organizes a drink at the boulevard. A supermarket is around the corner, but we almost needed it because of the drinks/coffee/cheese/toilet paper etc., which Maria had already provided. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby and with 20 minutes by train you are in the heart of Porto. We will definitely come back here again!

Excellent! A very nice place to go on vacation. The house is beautiful , with everything we need to spend a few weeks on vacation . The view we have of the Ocean is wonderful. Mr. António is very attentive . I highly recommend it.

I recently stayed at Urbiluso Airbnb and had an amazing experience! The space was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Urbiluso was incredibly responsive. I felt very comfortable and safe throughout my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!

A beautiful apartment with absolutely everything you could need for a family holiday! Natacha’s place is spotlessly clean, lots of space and so many little extras it really felt like a home from home. The views of the sea and the sunset from the balcony were amazing! The pool was huge and clean and the surrounding area peaceful but close enough to Porto and Gaia by bike or a quick Uber ride. There is a boardwalk and cycle path just across the road that goes all the way down the beach to Porto. There is a supermarket nearby and some lovely beach bars and restaurants along the front. Natacha was a perfect host - friendly and very responsive and helpful with lots of ideas and suggestions for our stay. Our teenage girls loved the surf lessons that Natacha suggested and we had lots to do and lots of sights to see. Thank you Natacha for the perfect stay. We recommend 100% and would definitely stay again!

This was a very nice studio that had all we needed. It is conveniently close to the old town at the base of the hill. It comes with convenient parking, so the walk up the hill to tour the University Library and museums, etc. was a big plus to have parking.

We have never experienced such a well-maintained, clean and well-equipped apartment. It corresponds 100% to the photos. There is a large underground parking lot. The landlord Manuel took care of things proactively and asked several times if everything was okay. The location is right on the main beach of Esmoriz, separated only by the waterfront road. However, it should be noted that at the end of August, a fair takes place right in front of the house with corresponding volume in the afternoon and evening.

It was so nice to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean or see it through the large glass doors. The restaurants were good and it was so easy to get to the fresh seafood restaurants over on the river in Gaia. Hugo had a list of many restaurants in the area both Gaia and Porto. Even though we did not communicate much during our stay, Hugo was quick to answer when we had a question. I felt we could reach out to him if we had a need.

Very nice apartment, as described and shown in photos. Antonio is very welcoming and accommodating the view from the apartment is just amazing Antonio's touches like coffee, dishwasher pods and laundry are a very nice addition. i recommend this listing
