Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

The cottage boasts a quaint, homey feel and is well-equipped with amenities such as a burner top stove, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, washer & dryer. Highly recommend enjoying the island's cuisine. For your information, non-registered guests are not allowed. The cottage is also not childproofed!

This is a cosy cabin sits on seven acres of land with water access. It has a firewood stove and hardwood floors in the main part of the cabin - tiling the living room. The decor is country chic. The property is rural about 11 miles from any store but close to beautiful hiking trails, and has access to a staircase down to a deck at the water where we swim. We face Saltspring Island and the southern tip of Wallace - in fact it is just a kayak ride across Trincomali channel to Salt Spring.

Galiano Cabin Hideaway

The cabin has a double bed plus a twin size guest bed on the main floor, very comfortable accommodation for two or three guests. It also has a self contained second bedroom and bath on the ground floor with its own private entrance that is ideal for sharing with one or two guests. There is a $150/night, plus $60 cleaning fee for this additional bed and bath. Please contact the host if you wish to book this second bed and bath.
