Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a lovely stay! Very nice cottage on the outside, in a very nice location. You can walk into nature or take a short drive and you can do a city trip Cologne. Inside, everything met our wishes. Neat and well-kept, nicely decorated and with a nice welcome when you enter! We especially loved the shower room. The place with André has been very nice. There was nothing missing. Small drinks and snacks were provided. The apartment is super clean and has a full kitchen. I'm sure I'll come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Junta’s place! The home was extremely clean and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a long day of traveling. It was also very quiet, which made it easy to rest and recharge. Junta and her husband were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy place to stay.

It was just nice over the Christmas holidays. We were able to escape the whole family stress. The apartment was just great. We fell in love with the large cozy kitchen with fireplace. The children were delighted with the 2 cats that were always in the yard. We were even allowed to feed and pet the alpacas. We also got fresh eggs from the chickens. Angela was always available and super friendly. We would come back.

Peter and Petra are very guest and dog friendly! We were very happy about the additional amenities for our dog! The apartment is nice and practically decorated and recommended for a stay!

Beautiful house for an unforgettable weekend away with our friend group. It was our own private castle! Large rooms, comfortable beds, and kitchen and bathrooms were large, clean and well equipped. We were greeted very friendly by the house’s caretaker and contact during and after our stay was very pleasant and friendly. Two small remarks: some of the rooms didn’t have curtains or blinds to block out daylight, and in some rooms the light switches were not working properly or confusing to use. But those are just minor issues because we had an amazing time in the villa. Thank you!

For our JGA we booked this place for one night. We were 13 people, room was more than enough for everyone. Rooms were all clean, there were plenty of towels for everyone. About the location: as already described in some reviews before me, the house is located in a residential area and is a semi-detached house. Therefore, it should also be noted that you cannot/should not make noise until the end of the day. We talked to the neighbors before and were still partying around 11:30 pm. Until then, no one complained about the volume and we were certainly not quiet on the road. The garden is nice and large, the hot tub well maintained. The house itself is also in good condition, the bathrooms in the rooms are "newly" renovated. Check in / check out went smoothly, the hosts are very nice. All in all we had a great time and with the house the perfect accommodation for the JGA, thank you.

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.
