An old Japanese traditional house over 120 years old called “Gennemon” is located in the mountain area in Gujo city. Limited to one group per day, it is a special place where you can stay with the host family and experience Japanese lifestyle. You can enjoy seasonal activities such as river swimming, foraging for edible wild plants, rice farming, wood chopping etc. upon request. Guests can choose between spacious Tatami room or a bedroom that has been self-renovated using local woods.
