Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Gili Trawangan

Lovely accommodation 10 minute walk from the Harbour inland on Gilli Meno. Clean and comfortable. Quiet and hidden away. 10 minute walk to a swimming beach and a snorkelling beach the other side. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Absolutely stunning, idyllic oasis in the centre of the island. Little paths weave across Gili Air for a quick bike ride in any direction, choose your beach, choose your restaurant - that’s the hardest part of being on this island. So many to choose from! Start your day at the coffee roasters cafe 1 minute away - they do matcha too :-) End your day in the lush pool staring up at the stars. Charlie, the housekeeper, is so friendly and helpful, truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Thanks Charlie for organising our luggage, massages in the villa, snorkling, the medic, everything! Can’t wait to return to this peaceful island

Guesthouse was very simple, very clean and in very good location. 8minute walk from harbor, don't even need to get any transport. Most of the days you can manage without renting a bike as well - everything is close and in walkable distance. Beach is 2min walk from the guesthouse. There is hot water in the shower, very good AC. Over all very quiet location. Sometimes others guests might be a bit loud or wake up early and speak a bit loudly. But considering Mosques on the island, I was always sleeping with earplugs, so all those noises were not that disturbing. If you like your sleep - bring earplugs! Without them you might end up being the most grumpy tourist on island. I was staying for couple of weeks there (way longer than regular tourist) and for long stay the only problem is some sort of storage - closet, hangers, shelves. Room has a bed and two bedside tables, all my clothes and rest of my stuff was just laid down on the floor. Gets very messy and disorganized after couple of days. But for a short trip this place is great! WiFi is good when it is. But it tend to disappear for couple of hours almost every day. Not the fault of the host, that's how it is on this island. Not a place for digital nomad.

Very pleasant stay and delicious breakfast. The pool and restaurant are lovely and the accommodation is very close to the port.

Me and my husband first booked this place for 1 week, but as soon as soon as we checked-in we booked an extra week because the host and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Warm water for showers and routine cleaning every few days to keep the room and linens fresh. Breakfast is included and it was always delicious. The pancake was consistent everyday and came with fresh fruit. Kaktus also has a cooking school and a silversmith class. Do either of them or both! It is a great way to spend your time. We went to the cooking class and had so much fun learning the local dishes. We 💚 Kaktus and hope to come back in the future!

Daeng and his wife are such lovely, kind and welcoming hosts! The location is great as it’s a short walk from the beach and not far from the harbour too. It’s nice and peaceful. The room was big and spacious and had a water filter too (I didn’t actually end up staying in it though as I had to go to another island so only saw it briefly) but they kindly kept my heavy luggage for me! 🙏 Thank you both!
