Apartment vacation rentals in Gioiosa Marea

Our stay in Lipari was wonderful and the accomodation was charming and equipped with everything we needed. The terrace is the focal point of the apartment and the view is spectacular. The host was accomodating, friendly, and always ready to answer any questions we had. He provided us with advice and tips in regard to restaurants and sightseeing. Definitely a place we would come back to.

We absolutely loved the apartment, don’t hesitate to book it. The town and beach were walkable (many stairs to beach) We fell in love with Taormina. The host offers tours as well.

The location of Gianluca’s place is absolutely perfect. Super accessible to everything. We loved eating meals out on the deck while enjoying the amazing views. Gianluca checked us in and provided a full overview of the apartment which was very helpful. It appears the previous guests put their dishes away without washing them. (We do not feel this was a reflection of Gianluca.)

The place is perfect, super central but in a quiet area, everything was very clean and attention to detail. Even the hand and shower soaps were excellent! Paolo was also charming, he helped us with some doubts and advised us the best places! I recommend it 100% .

Very close to the RcD Centrale (train station), many food stores, bakeries, food/veggie shops around. Apartment is very spacious, has renoved bathroom and is located on ground floor (but no worries, it feels very safe, there is only 1 window overlooking the street). Tiziana replies in, literally, minutes, so there was no communication issues. The only thing I would recommend to be prepared for is quite old kitchen cutlery + some other kitchen equipments like chopping board, glasses, bowls etc. Overall - very nice place for stay in Reggio di Calabria :)

It’s right off of Umberto, so lots of activity. It’s close to everything. Great restaurants and shopping

We had a great experience at Antonio's. The spot is perfect, beautiful ocean view, right on the lungomare, very close to the main corso but away from the city noise. Antonio was very helpful with recommendations. He went above and beyond a couple of times for us. The unit is private and quiet, and large enough for several people. We enjoyed many coffees and meals on the beautiful balcony. Highly recommend!!

I stayed at the place for a week and am very grateful and satisfied. Maria, Italo and Tango 🐶 welcomed me great. I felt very comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty every morning. 🥞 The two are very attentive and always have tips for the area ready. I had a car on site and was able to park at the parking lot without any problems. You can explore the surrounding area both on foot and by bus/car from there. It was a great vacation and I'm happy.

Great room with small kitchenette and private bathroom. Large enough for table and chairs for meals. Very clean and comfortable. Close to everything buses and ferries. Highly recommend. On

Amazing place!! So private, and beautiful. As it is somewhat remote, our hosts arranged for a taxi (which was included in the rent) from our ferry. Our driver waited for us to do our food shopping before whisking us off to the property. Once there, our host transported us and all our luggage to our private casita. There, we enjoyed the spacious views from our large terrace, our private swimming hole below, and nearby beach. One can see Stromboli on the left and Vulcano on the right, with its simmering crater. Sunrises over the ocean below. Our hosts Mariagrazia and Carlo were warm and welcoming. I would give Seven Stars if I could!!

Our favorite stay in all of Sicily. Breathtaking views of the Isola Bella right out front! easy walk to that beach with cute restaurants and swimming. Barbara is super cool. Place is Magical.

First off I will echo the other reviews and state: do not underestimate the drive down the hill to the house, communicate with Tina about it well before booking! That out of the way, this is one of the most spectacular air bnbs I've ever been to. The place has all you need and is very well done in terms of the facilities, water installations etc.; the SETTING & outdoor area, however, is outstanding: very private, lying at a hill in serene quietness. radiant days in absolute peace (barely any car noise even making it down the hill), a sunset that might move you to tears, followed by a night of stars that humbled us deeply. Fascinating nature around to explore in hikes if you're into it! We cherished the time here so much - thank you Tina for your warm and considerate presence, we wish you only the best :)

A must stay for fans of “The Godfather” The village has several scenes from the films. Take a drive to the quaint village of Savoca and have a drink in the famous “bar Vitelli” We spent our mornings walking around the village of Forza d’Agro, exploring the tiny higgledy- piggledy alleyways that went up and down with houses dotted around. Unfortunately many are not habitable but this adds to the charm. The apartment has everything that you need and has a spectacular view of the sea and surrounding houses below. The place is very clean and comfortable. The village has a number of restaurants to choose from at very reasonable prices all within walking distance from the apartment.

Wow!!!! Loved this apartment!!! Two nights with incredible views, lovely and peaceful, great showers, yummy treats and did I mention the views??? Perfect stay for three female travellers, Massimo was the perfect host, friendly, helpful and always on hand. Would totally recommend staying here for the experience and we managed the steps up and down to the town totally manageable by going slooooow!!! Stay here for sure you will be so pleased you did!!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and wished we had stayed longer. Upon check in, Dorotea greeted us and was extremely helpful explaining the amenities, sharing a map of the town and recommendations for food, drinks, sight-seeing and excursions. The apartment itself is absolutely gorgeous. The best view you could ask for with a nice area to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The apartment overlooks the beautiful Isolla Bella island - stunning! At night, we enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub (which is shared with the other apartment but that was not a problem at all). It’s an easy walk into Taormina (you can take a cable car up to the city if you would like as well). We highly recommend the steak restaurant Adduma. Amazing steak and tiramisu! You will not go wrong with choosing Dorotea’s apartment for your stay in Taormina :).

We had a perfect stay at this AirBNB. The communication and check-in with Chiara was perfect, she received us super nicely. Apartment is wonderfully located, right on the main shopping street of Taormina. From the parking garage, it takes a good 5 minutes on foot, but the car is safe there. The apartment is as stated in the description, no amenities are missing. Very clean, air conditioning works, in the kitchen you will find everything you need and the beds are comfortable. The two outdoor areas are particularly great: the small balcony above the Corso Umberto with the hot tub heated to 39°, but we liked the small roof terrace with its wonderful view over Taormina, the sea up to Mount Etna. One downside is the nightly noise night. The Corsa Umberto is quiet, but there is a bar on the back, where party music runs until early morning. In the front room you hear little, unfortunately a lot in the front.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect honeymoon getaway at Roberto’s Airbnb in Sicily! The place was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, private, and beautifully maintained. The views from the property were absolutely unbeatable and made our stay even more special. The location was fantastic, with plenty of charming restaurants within walking distance, as well as easy access to the bus stop and the cable car to Taormina. It made exploring the area a breeze! Roberto went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of prosecco and plenty of snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch after our travels. He also provided excellent local recommendations, especially helpful during the rainy days we encountered. We truly enjoyed our time at Roberto's home and can’t wait to return on our next visit to Sicily. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Natasha’s place. Amazing view with big balcony area. There are lots of stairs to get to the apartment but was fine for us. Would not hire a car for this location as it is impossible to park and we had to pay for a valet service. Otherwise highly recommend staying here!!!!!!

Literally located in the best area, everything you’d need in the flat, clean with a good host. Such a bargain!

Cinzia's farm is a beatiful place with a stunning view at the ocean. If you get up early, you can watch the sunrise perfectly from the pool deck. Just don't forget to bring mosquito repellent as you are in the middle of fruit trees and (very delicious - thank you!) vegetables. The dogs are super sweet, too! Thanks for having us.
