Brightwood is an amazing place to stay in Bright. Location is perfect, walking distance to shops, restaurants, Oven River, Canyon Walk and park. We only used our car when we went to further places. Brightwood's kitchen is well equipped. Everything you need is there. Btw, I loved the coffee! Martyn's home is truly pet-friendly. It even has a doggy door going at the backyard, provided pet covers, pet towels, pet bowl and toys. Oreo loved the treats! Martyn is a great host, very responsive and recommended places to go, off leash parks and where to eat. Thank you Martyn for welcoming us to your beautiful home. Our family will definitely be back.

We loved our stay here!! The mountain views were incredible and we enjoyed cooking on the fire. The yurt was also very cosy and the rustic wood fired bath and facilities only added to the whole experiences. Sharon was a great host and gave clear instructions on how to get there. We would love to come back!

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Conveniently located a short drive to the shops and restaurants in Bright. We would definitely recommend Chestnut Tree as a base for going up to the mountains :)

Had a wonderful, peaceful stay at the cottage. Took my dog along for a quiet long weekend escape to unplug. I especially loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and sitting on the verandah watching all the birds in the evening. Sally was very welcoming and her lumberjack cake was divine!

We spent Christmas at Priscilla’s place and it was amazing! The house is in such a good location - it is peaceful and quiet yet able to walk to town within 10mins. The house itself had so much going for it - highlights for the kids was definitely the trampoline and all the kids toys/books. For the adults it was the welcome gift of local coffee and red wine. Not to mention the very very comfortable beds! Thanks so much for having us and making it such a special Christmas Priscilla!

We enjoyed our stay with the place being clean, spacious and modern. Good stock of pantry and food items in the fridge/freezer. Great for kids with toys, play area at the back of the villa, and a couple minutes drive was a big playground in front of the lake. Main part of town is about a 10 min drive. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Stayed with Chas over the Australia Day weekend. Lovely little cottage, gorgeous views, walking distance to Whitfield and 5 min to a swimming hole at Gentle Annie. An added bonus were breakfast provisions and a coffee machine. The best part was the hammock - watching the sunset and then stargazing over a glass of complimentary Prosecco (a lovely touch). Appreciate all the local intel on wineries and attractions. Will definitely stay with Chas again!
