We had such a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely beautiful, so peaceful, private, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a perfect little escape. Maureen was so attentive and helpful throughout, making us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

Snipes snug was an incredible place to stay! The views from the cabin are amazing and even better when you’re relaxing in the hot tub. The location is perfect and there are so many amazing walks from the cabin. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants at round the area. We are already planning our next trip back!

Fantastic stay for secluded rest/relaxing with amazing views. Woodland walks from the doorstep great for walking the dog and the longer recommended walk over to Tintern. Kids also loved the rope swing! Many thanks

Home from home, with plenty of kitchen ware and utensils that we used to make family meals, enjoyed at the family dining table with an amazing view of the valley. Comfortable beds, sofas and facilities. The outdoor area was lots of fun for the whole family with beautiful views from the hot tub and BBQ. Surrounded by open spaces and the tennis court for the kids to go and explore. Ivan had thought of everything for a relaxing holiday. Having Symonds Yat on our doorstep, there was plenty of entertainment and adventures to enjoy as a family. Thoroughly recommend.

In a word - Fantastic!! Kelly is a great host and was happy to accommodate a change in date due to a sudden illness. Once we’d rearranged everything worked out well. The location backs right onto a forest - literally! Harvey the dog was in his element with the smells and sounds and deer and everything, and even the 15 year stroppy daughter enjoyed the walks and the hot tub! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. A minor was finding it in the first place, but look for a telegraph pole, red telephone box ☎️ and a small red post box all together and if you turn there you’ll have found it. We had a really lovely 3 night break away. Having the hot tub and leisure passes were a great bonus and meant we could relax without going far. Tracey was really responsive and we will definitely be back.

Used the hut for a lovely girls weekend, the space was just right with a lovely hot tub. The view was incredible and there were lots of local things to do. If you are looking for a quiet secluded weekend away to treat yourself then this is the place!

Cannot recommend this cabin stay enough! Its location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. The cabin was an excellent size for two adults and our dog (Hungarian vizsla) and had everything we needed! The enclosed spaces were a brilliant size for running around with our dog and we felt very comfortable with our dog off lead in them! Also the natural beauty in the enclosed spaces and surrounding the property is beautiful to be inamoungst Inside the cabin felt so much bigger than it looked, there were plenty of utensils for cooking breakfast and preparing our lunches, and overall everything had a lovely cosy cabin feeling, in particular the duvet was lovely and cosy in the night! Duncan and Jacqui were super friendly, they welcomed us at arrival and came to say goodbye at the end, but also left us to enjoy the cabin in the meantime, we really felt welcome at their place! The thoughtful touches from Duncan and Jacqui were the icing on the cake for a fantastic getaway!

This is an ideal place to stay for families and small groups to get together. In peaceful location and private grounds. The lodges are very clean and have everything you need for a weekend or week away from home. Would definitely use again and will recommend highly.

Lavender lodge was the perfect getaway for a quiet NYE. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed its surroundings and amenities. It was easy to access with additional directions from Alison prior to arrival. Thank you Alison.

Tom’s place looked just like the photos, the view is outstanding and the area around the cabin is so peaceful. We went for walks around the public footpaths and found some really lovely scenery. Absolutely recommend this to anyone needing an escape from the stresses of life. We found it to be a tranquil environment that enabled us to concentrate on new business ideas without the constant interruptions of home.

Lovely couple of days in a well appointed Pod. Had everything we wanted inc toiletries and hairdryer. James was very helpful and let us know that we could check in early if we wanted to. The view from the pod was great overlooking the Severn made better by the sun!! Would highly recommend for a few days away. Thank you James !!

Simply breathtaking! The cabins are an incredible and unique place to stay. They are so luxurious, especially given their remote location on a hillside looking out over stunning views of the Wye Valley. It was the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine on the deck - then when the weather got cooler in the evening we lit the log burner and were still able to enjoy panoramic views from inside through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The cabins are really well built and feel very cosy, the decor is great and all the kitchen equipment is brand new. So we were very comfortable while right in the middle of the countryside (there were sheep and lambs in the field just outside when we stayed). The property belongs to a charity called Jamie’s Farm that’s just down the lane, and staying there raises money for them so it’s a win-win! The area is fab with fantastic walks and great pubs.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay here. It was amazing to have the Forest of Dean on the doorstep our pooch loved it. The place was really clean and tidy and everything we needed was in the visitor pack. Would highly recommend!

Great spot. Really simple check in and check out process. Pod was great - exactly as advertised. Private, fields and land around them to walk the dog. Would recommend.

David’s a good guy and a great host meeting both Stacey and I as we found the location in which he shared the history of “The Robin” and local area later on that evening which made the whole experience meaningful. The staff in cafe were also top people and extremely warm and friendly and their breakfast was one of the best I think I’ve ate, quality produce cooked well in a cosy atmosphere. Definitely a place we both would visit in the future and recommend to anyone wanting to get away and have a chilled break, family and pet friendly in a safe, private location surrounded in beautiful country surroundings.
