Vacation rentals in Gormanston

Sea forth was an absolutely breathtaking shack. We had the most glorious stay here and if we didn’t have a toddler in tow we would have left the shack refreshed and rested. In saying that , it was surprisingly easy to keep our toddler entertained in the shack and in Strahan in general. If you plan on cooking then best to get all the supplies you need in town so you don’t have to head back in often including oil ect. There aren’t that many good options in town. The coffee at the coffee shack was great though. I would highly recommend this air bnb and will dream of it on my return home I’m sure.

Captains rest is a slice of heaven! The stay is beautiful, cosy, and relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and thank Sarah and the team for sharing their place with visitors.

A spectacular location, with gorgeous views. We wished we had a bit longer to stay and enjoy the garden and local area. The house was very warm, clean, comfortable, and well equipped for families. Susan was great to communicate with, always available to answer entries, and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

An amazing place to stay in so many ways. We would recommend staying here for anyone wanting to experience ultimate luxury in Strahan.

Location was stunning and we love the renovations Michelle has done to maximise the space and update it. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend to other travellers.

Lovely peaceful spot, close to town and restaurants but away from the main tourist strip. Comfortable bed and great bath. Would recommend, thanks!

Comfortable stay that was well-equipped. good choice if you're heading for the railway experience. ps: there are 2 other places in tasmania with the exact same address so make sure you type the full address (including queenstown) when navigating. we went to the wrong one and took twice the time here

We arrived pretty late for check in and Vicki was extremely understanding. The place had a beautiful verandah, yard, kitchen and living room. The bathroom was clean and the shower was nice and hot with good pressure. The photos don't do the place justice. It was also so handy to be within walking distance of the train station just down the hill for the Teepoorkana and the King railway tour which is a fantastic tour!
