'Hideaway' is a traditional "post and beam" style bungalow separate to the main house with a spacious and private bedroom/living area, ensuite, courtyard and reading nook. If this dwelling is unavailable check out our other bungalows, "Woody Nook" and "The Long House" FREE PARKING on the street in front of the accommodation No TV but Wi Fi is very good. “The Hideaway is part of a little hidden garden at the back of the property. There are so many plants and little artistic touches, it's clearly a labor of love! The place itself is clean, fun, quiet and colorful. The bed is supremely comfortable and the heating works a treat. The shower also has great water pressure, and there's even a little espresso machine! Leigh was very warm and hospitable, and we look forward to checking out one of the other rooms in the future!”
Set amongst the trees in a quiet neighborhood, my newly build house is bright and cozy with a relaxed beach house atmosphere. Close to central Torquay and nearby surf beaches, it is the ideal stop-over on the way down the Great Ocean Road, or 'home base' for exploring the surf coast. Good for couples, solo adventurers, is set up like a three bedroom guest house, with comfortable, quiet, private rooms and shared kitchen, lounge and bathrooms.
“My partner and I had a wonderful time at Stu's place. Stuart is a great host - generous, kind, easy-going - and welcoming. We felt at home very quickly here. The house is spacious, with a lovely outside BBQ area and light-flooded inside common kitchen area. Our room was very clean, spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. ... And when you're lucky (which we were) Stu even cooks you a delicious omelette for breakfast. We can only recommend this place.”
Self contained garden cabin in Jan Juc at the start of the Great Ocean Road. Paths to cafes,Hotel 10 min walk to beach. Double bed, kitchenette, ensuite, private. Great place to stay for a relaxing getaway, swimming, or bush walking. 3/4 hr walk to Torquay and Bells beach.
“What a special place! We stayed in the cosy cabin for one night and it felt like a whole week. Such a relaxing place with an easy and scenic walk to the beach and the shops. We were so well looked after (thoughtful breakfast treats, a fire lit for us after our beach walk, local tips and very hospitable towards our puppy who was in dog heaven). Thanks for a wonderful stay - we'll definitely be back in summer!”
