Monthly Rentals in Government Island

Our stay was truly a dream from start to finish. The home was warm, welcoming, and filled with so many thoughtful touches—from the charming decor to the little surprises like toys in the loft that made our kiddo feel right at home. It was such a treat for our whole family. Even the snacks were a lifesaver—especially while juggling a busy toddler adjusting to a new space. It’s those kinds of details that show just how much care the hosts put into every corner of the experience. They were always kind, responsive, and ready to help with anything we needed. We felt so taken care of the entire time. We couldn’t recommend their home more!

We enjoyed our stay at Meg’s place. It is located right across from McMenamins Edgefield and a short drive to the waterfalls and the Columbia river. The town home is small, tidy and tastefully furnished. The bed is confortable and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes. We would stay there again.

Very clean, and many little touches that make a stay more comfortable, such as lamps in addition to overhead lighting, plenty of towels, and a well stocked kitchen (for an Airbnb). The bed and bedding were very comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets were available. The couch in the living space was nice with a chaise lounger on it. Loved the Monet painting!

Steve, and Shannon were exceptional hosts! Very timely messages, and great hospitality. Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to Portland!
