Welcome to The Governor's Harbour Collection - Anchor Point Apartments; an affordable, condo-style development located in the heart of Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. The complex is comprised of two buildings: One contains 2 one bedroom apartments and two standard two bedroom apartments, while the other building contains 2 larger, two bedroom apartment suites. All units are built with covered, outside balconies that offer fantastic views of Anchor Bay.
“We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Communication was easy. The apartment is fully equipped, clean, spacious and modern. It is also a washing machine and dryer available. A bonus were the beach chairs and umbrella as well as the cool bag. The folder with lots of information and tips was very helpful. Because there are many roosters on the island, be prepared to be awakened in the early morning ;-). Location is perfect, you will find everything you need. Grocery stores, gas station, cafes and restaurants. All in all I fully recommend this place.”
Rose Manor cottage is located "on the hill" in Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera, Bahamas. Walk almost anywhere in town from our centrally located property. The cottage comfortably sleeps two and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Enjoy mangoes from our trees, relaxing on the balcony and taking in all that Eleuthera has to offer. A property manager is available to greet you upon your arrival, as well as answer any questions you may have about the house or the island during your stay.
“The Rose Cottage is a perfect place if you want to live in and become part of a wonderful neighborhood in Governor's Harbor. Groceries, coffee, good food, liquor stores - all walkable. I have visited several islands in the Bahamas and return over and over for the people, and the Rose Cottage neighborhood did not disappoint; they completely embraced us. The Buccaneer is our favorite place for very good food, and they provided the musical back drop most of the day and evening. Karen, Khris, Crystal and the entire crew always welcomed us with a smile and laughs. We even came to know and have a wonderul experience with the Bucaneer kitty. Ann Bethel, the property manager was helpful and responsive to our questions and needs. We did get some great laughs with her too. I could have stayed on the deck of the Rose Cottage reading for weeks, but we did venture out to see the entire island. Strongly suggest a car and Stanton was a great tip from Dina. We went from the Southern most point to the northern most, but I have to say, the closest beach, French Leave, might have been my favorite. It is close to Rose Cottage and amazingly beautiful. I could go on and on about the week at the Rose Cottage. It was a wonderful week, and we will return. I strongly recommend the Rose Cottage and Dina's hospitality to anyone looking for this kind of experience. Thank you to all!”
Located on the pink sand of Bird Point Beach, only a few steps away from the famous Tippy’s Restaurant, "Bird of Paradise Beachfront Cottages" is the perfect getaway. The "Purple Papaya" is modern and unique with all the comforts of home. Private beachfront deck, infinity edge pool, direct beach access, and time standing still is what you'll find here.
“Pinch me! Those are the words I used every morning as I woke to the breathtaking views from the sliding glass door of Purple Papaya. Seemed like I was still dreaming. This was our second trip to Eleuthera and this particular beach is what brought us back. How fortunate to have it right outside our door this time. If you book this property, of course you'll want to explore the island, but don't spend too much time away as the best beach is right here! Alissa was so easy to work with and super timely with communication. Tarictia, the onsite property manager who greeted us on arrival, was simply delightful. The cottage is beautifully and cheerfully decorated and had everything we could need for a relaxing vacation. We prepared breakfast, lunch and a couple dinners at home and found everything needed in the kitchen. We are VERY particular about beds and found this one to be extremely comfortable. The shower provided plenty of hot water (full disclosure, pressure was often a bit low) and the air conditioning and ceiling fans far exceeded our expectations. High speed internet was reliable and there was cable TV too (but we were there to escape so hardly used it.) Other reviewers have mentioned "noise" from Tippy's next door. Did we hear it? Yes. But the occasional sounds of reggae only enhanced our experience and the convenience of a solid place to eat dinner was a major plus. And what fun to be there at the stroke of midnight on January 1st when Junkanoo showed up to the party! We also enjoyed dining at Buccaneer Club, 1648 and takeout from Bacchus Fine Foods, all within a 5 minute drive.”
