Charming Heritage Cottage

This historic townhouse is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private courtyard is ideal for a braai (barbecue), or a quiet coffee. The house is child-friendly, and pets are welcome too. A gun-safe is provided, ideal for hunters. The stove is gas, so cooking during load-shedding is never a problem! As with many Graaff-Reinet houses, there is ONLY ON-STREET PARKING. There is also no TV.

The Tradesman

The Tradesman Shop is a quirky and historic unit with a beautiful courtyard and braai area. It is the last Tradesman shop that is still connected to the main house and dates from the 1850’s. It’s still has the original “brakdakkie”-ceiling so don’t get a fright when a piece of historic dust comes loose from the ceiling. The large courtyard at the back is a treat. Please note the unit operates on a gas geyser.

It is also immediately adjacent to a large sparkling swimming pool - it is therefore not suitable for persons who are not water-smart. It has a private entrance and safe parking. Two large friendly dogs may be in attendance.
