Vacation rentals with a firepit in Grad Kaštela

The Experience was absolutely great. A fabulous place to stay on holiday especially with all your friends. Everything was perfect, especially with the pool to keep up cool with the hot weather.

Sandra is a great host, very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation matches the photos, very clean and has everything you need. I highly recommend the accommodation!!

We loved Helena's place. We were 2 families with 4 children under 11, so this house was just perfect! The pool was ideal for keeping out the baking Croatian sun, with lots of sunbeds. There is an outdoor kitchen, as well as a pristine and brand new inside kitchen, fully equipped so eating al fresco was very easy. The rooms housed us all more than adequately, with the double rooms with ensuites facing the sea, and the smaller kid's rooms at the back. The house is located a few minutes walk to a good local restaurant, a cute little beach that didn't get too busy and an excellent beach bar. A big plus was the closeness to the airport so you can genuinely just walk to the house in 10 mins. We didn't hire a car and just took Helena's recommended taxi firm to visit the local town of Trogir. We also did a days boat trip and they picked us up from the beach close to us, so no travelling required. If you're after a quiet and relaxing week, Helena's place is perfect!

I rented both apartments for 8 people for 8 days and was very pleased with the quality of the apartments (spacious and airy, well equipped, clean), outside property (well maintained pool and the deck, upper terrace - gorgeous view of sea, lower - next to the garden, privacy with the green space behind the yard), and the location. It's centrally located in Kastelas, 5 min walk to the promenade and the beach, 15 min to airport, 20-30 mins to Trogir and Split, quick walk to a great bakery, markets and restaurants, main bus route is right there to all the towns. The hosts are very accommodating and prompt to respond (flexible check in, help with beach towels, local suggestions, help with parking ticket :). Highly recommend either of apartments. A point of caution if you rent a larger vehicle (I had mini van Opel Combo) - a bit tricky to get into the turn into the property, but that's typical for that size car on a lot of roads in the area :)

Villa Hana, the surrounding area and our hosts Ante and Ivana were wonderful. The villa looks even better than the photos and has everything you need. The spotlessly clean swimming pool, table tennis, swings and trampoline gave the children hours of fun. The local seafront villages with great bars and restaurants are easy walking distance and we coped without a hire car. Ante is also an uber driver and we were able to go further afield and see Split. Trogir and the Krka National park with him. First class villa and holiday- we will definitely return.

Our family spent eight days here with three boys between 15 and 20, and we all loved this place. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived, the pool was a big hit, the unexpected pull up bar was used a lot, and the large patio was a blessing during the hot days, especially with the outdoor kitchen with Croatian barbeque. Airconditioning in all bedrooms. Also, having three separate bathrooms with showers and toilets was very welcome. A car is highly recommended due to the location of the house, hidden in the hills north of the airport. It's located about 10 minutes drive from the car rental at Split airport, and on the way to the house you pass a reasonably big supermarket for your groceries. Trogir is a nice small town to visit, and only a 15 minute drive away.

We had a fantastic week at Zlatko's place. The place is very clean and tidy. Anything you need is present, there was even a bottle of wine in the fridge. The surroundings are wonderfully quiet. From the 2nd floor we had a nice view over the sea and split. There are a few nice restaurants nearby. The bakery and supermarket are in walking distance. Also, the bus from Trogir to Split is just 10 minutes walking distance, so ideal!

I booked the apartment for my aunts These were very enthusiastic about the apartment and felt very comfortable. The view from the balcony is fantastic. You can see the sea and also the runway from the airport, which is very interesting to observe. The area is quiet and beautiful. It's bigger than it looks on the photos and really very tidy and clean. You have everything you need and even more. For the future, they would choose the apartment again.

We had a very nice stay at Kristina's. She welcomed us in a very friendly way and explained everything. The place has everything and more that we wanted. You can also spend a nice day by the pool with a grill. Thank you very much!

We’ve been in the apartment before embarking for a cruise at Marina Kastela. The apartment is a precious pearl and very comfortable. We passed a very good time over there and Natalija is a very good, benevolent and friendly person. The restaurant very near the apartment is a very good adress also. You can book over there the eyes closed, I recommend it a lot ! Thanks for all Natalija !!

Nothing but compliments: very welcoming host who was able to recommend extraordinary places that we would not have discovered. She had many touches for us during the stay (juice and sodas in the fridge on arrival, a sumptuous meal and not to mention a small departure gift). The apartment is conveniently located to discover Split, Trogir and is within reasonable distance of Plitvice Lakes and Krka Waterfalls. It is in excellent condition, the bedding is ultra comfortable and the 2 terraces are nice for breakfast and meals. Beach + restaurants + supermarkets nearby. Note that the apartment is close to the airport which means that the planes pass over the apartment but there are not many and inside the noise is very light. A huge thank you to Josipa and her husband for this great stay.
