At "34 bis", nice cottage in the Normandy countryside

Suite in a longhouse in stone of Caen. Our cottage is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. In a hamlet of the Pays d 'Auge, 2.5 km from the village, by the roadside. The house is surrounded by a large plot of 3000m2. A large hedge surrounds the land and isolates it from the outside. Close to the Château de Canon 7 km away, the sea (Cabourg beach, Merville-Franceville, Ouistreham, ...) is 30 min away, Caen and Falaise are quickly accessible. The calm is appreciable!

On the ground floor of a 15th century building classified as a historical monument, this 2-room, 36 m2 accommodation, fully renovated in 2024 and 2025, can accommodate up to 4 guests. If you like the charm of the old, the materials that have a soul, this place is for you. 100m from the Abbaye aux Dames, in a quiet little street, the major tourist sites and the hyper-center are within a 10-minute walk: Vaugueux district, port, castle, ... Free parking in the area.

It is located right next to all the shops (butcher, fishmonger, grocery store, bakery, restaurants…), a short walk from the museums and the castle of William the Conqueror and the aquatic center. To make your night or stay more enjoyable, bed linen and towels are provided. Guests can also relax in the small private garden that is not overlooked and equipped with a charcoal barbecue. Upstairs you will find a Bathroom, Master Bedroom and a Twin Bedroom, both having uninterupted views of the River.
