“Patricia is so welcoming & an amazing host. She sets out thoughtful touches in the bathrooms & gives you full access to her house. She was really helpful with providing local activities, a fantastic restaurant for dinner & was kind enough to make us a hearty breakfast before we left in the morning. We really enjoyed getting to know her & would definitely return!”
Water front 1740s second oldest on the Granville Ferry. 1000 sq ft loft up/down completely renovated charming with a 8x10 ft deck. Visit one of Annapolis oldest neighbourhoods. Access to the water and on low tides a sandy beach that you can walk. Lily pad is a great place to play cards, laugh and make memories. Please review some reviews, We have minor complaints about the house being close to the road. After all it was built 300 years ago. Consider this prior to booking. Great Thanks.
“This is a little gem! Stay here if you can. All of the expectations of good communication, easy check in, location and a beautifully decorated and restored centuries-old house were met. New appliances, well stocked fridge & kitchen, new cookware and nice linens. It is in the details that you can see that Jay really cares for the comfort (and safety) of his guests. Thank you for all your precautions and communication dealing with Covid 19. We appreciated the extras! Thank you for the welcome wine, night lights ( so smart!), face masks, candy bowl, dog biscuits and more. It was warm for Nova Scotia during our stay, so we used the downstairs bed. The upstairs loft-like bedroom is lovely, but a little too warm even with the downstairs AC. So, in hot weather, this is a better stay for two, than four. It was completely comfortable for us to make this small adjustment.”
This is a century home nestled amongst some of the oldest wooden buildings in Canada. It has a nice private deck and back yard. The house is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable in your home away from home. Upstairs has one bathroom, a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with a double bed. There is also a tiny bedroom with a single bed. Downstairs has a kitchen/dining room, living room and a bathroom with a shower.
“I stayed 3 nights at Angela's Riverhouse and loved the house. The location was great for exploring the town and close to places to eat and shop. It was centrally located for visiting the area. Everything was clean and well kept. If traveling with a family there were plenty of games and other things to do in the house if you happen to have a rainy day. The towels were plush and the bed I used was very comfortable. The jam that Angela left me was delicious and gave me something to eat in the mornings before venturing out. There are two smaller grocery stores nearby, one even walkable, if you need to pick up any supplies. The internet access was also great. Having the back yard was nice also and I even had a short visit from Snow one of the local cats which I enjoyed. I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area.”
