Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Great Smoky Mountains

We had a great experience staying here. Lindsay was super helpful and let us check in early so we could accommodate our dog. She always responded within a few minutes and was very kind. The house itself was a little older and some rooms were not as nice as others, but you could tell they put in a lot of effort to make it nice and clean. The more updated rooms in particular were very cute. All the carpets were in really good condition. We appreciated the labels on all the cupboards in the kitchen so we could quickly find things. The backyard was fantastic for our dog. He was so happy running around after being cooped up in the car. The neighbor dogs were kind of annoying (incessant barking) but only during the day. Everything was super quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, this was a great option for us for our quick trip to Knoxville. Thank you, Lindsay!

Erin's place is exactly as described - very warm, inviting, beautiful outdoors. Our stay was short, but it was a perfect spot for what we had planned for the long weekend. Erin checked in with us after arriving just to make sure there were no issues - she was kind enough to let us get into the house earlier than normal. There were fresh eggs and butter that was enjoyed for breakfast. She normally makes homemade bread as well but happened to be out of town during our stay - she apologized! Next time we are in Ashville, we will most definitely stay again - and hope to enjoy that bread! Thank you Erin

Initially rented this gem to attend my son’s wrestling tournament and it was cancelled last minute. I went anyways and had a girlfriend meet me and we had a lovely time! Everything was what I expected and super clean, which is most important to me. The cottage was decorated beautifully and we felt right at home! I’ll be back for sure!

Love the spot! Great for a pet and small family. We didnt pull the couch out. But my fiancé said after a long nap its a well recommended couch! Everything 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jo’s place was just as described. She was super responsive to a couple of questions we had. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely come back.

We stayed here for 2 weeks while waiting on home renovations to be completed in our own house. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet, and we loved the long driveway with extended area for additional parking. We appreciated have full use of the garage to park our cars out of the son and rain. The house was comfortable for our teenagers and two pets. Beautiful fenced in back yard that our dog loved. Kitchen was very nice for making meals and we appreciated the coffee supplies. King beds were very comfortable. Wrong time of year for us to enjoy the pool area, but would be super fun during the summer time and we appreciated the pool table/ping pong area for gathering friends during long, warm summer nights. The only draw back were the shallow bathtubs. Perfectly fine for bathing children, but if you’re a teenager or adult who enjoys soaking tubs, best save the soaking for the hot tub in the backyard. ;) All in all, it was a nice and comfortable stay.

We were in the area for a cheerleading competition at the Sevierville convention center. Loved the fact that this home was so close to the area, not just to the convention center but to Pigeon Forge and the surrounding areas. The house felt like home away from home. Will definitely stay here again.

We chose to do an AirBnb over a hotel due to the amount of people we were traveling with. House was clean and welcoming. Everything labeled or instructions left on where to find them. We invited family from the area to come join us for dinner and we had plenty of utensils, bowls, plates, cookware to cook, etc for everyone. Plenty of room for the kids to spread out in the house. Hosts were great, we came in really late, they turned the interior lights on and let us know they turned them on so we wouldn’t question if we were in the wrong place lol. We also booked very last minute and they never once made us feel like an inconvenience for doing so- as a previous booking had that we ended up cancelling for the same trip, which is how we ended up here to begin with. TVs in all the bedrooms made for a great time with the kids falling asleep comfortably (strange places plus super quiet and dark rooms can make it hard for them to fall asleep) highly recommend this air bnb, great hosts and home

Very conveniently located just minutes from Jefferson City Health and Rehab which is what brought us to town. Nice lakes nearby and a few parks. We would stay there again.

Gabrielle and Eric were incredible hosts even in really difficult circumstances. During our stay hurricane Helene hit NC and there was a lot of flooding and trees falling. As with a lot of NC the water, power and cell service went out but Gabrielle went above and beyond to make sure that we had food and water and light. The entire area was affected including their own home but they still checked in with us and kept us updated on what they heard about the situation and had the culvert to the cabin rebuilt on the same day. Aside from the events the airbnb was lovely. It’s modern inside with sizeable rooms and more than enough space for the three of us. It was clean and warm and well stocked. We had our toddler with us and she had a great time with the toy box provided. We also really appreciated the high chair and children’s cutlery/crockery provided.

The house was perfect for our quick weeeknd trip and charming as pictured. April sent us clear instructions on exactly how to get to the entrance and where to park. Perfect location and plenty of options to enjoy the area. We will be sure to look for availability here for our next trip to Asheville!

We celebrated my husband’s BD. It was a 5 star experience. Clean, comfortable, convenient. We look forward coming back soon!

We had a great too-short stay in Asheville at Michelle’s. She was great; so helpful and lots of good information about everything. Checkin was easy. It was great to have the full kitchen; we stopped at Trader Joe’s very close to the house and made a quick meal out first night. Second night we went to zambra for tapas. Very good! Bed was comfortable, as was the bathroom. Parking easy. Interesting old neighborhood (Montford). All in all, a great Airbnb!

Incredibly clean place to stay and very responsive host. I would absolutely stay here again. Not a far drive from nearby activities but just far enough to appreciate the peaceful location.

Martin and Nikki made us feel right at home. Had small items ready to use like snacks, coffee, etc. so we didn’t have to immediately run to grocery store. We had lots of privacy. Apt was so close to UTK and downtown - very easy to get to places we needed to go. PS. Tepulo Honey is a highly recommended restaurant!

Once we enter the Ellora’s house, we felt right like home. Very clean, very comfortable and private. Very good host, friendly and attentive to all details. Inside the house was everything what needed for the stay and even more. The location is so beautiful and peaceful. Very comfortable to sleep and very mighty kitchen. We loved everything about our stay, specially the host and her family. They are so helpful and very welcoming. People with big hearts always succeed and feel their guests the top priority. My review is not about the walls and house, but it’s perfect too, but about the happiness we felt once we enter the home and meet these beautiful people later, the hosts. Believe me, it’s a rare find home! With everything you need to feel happiness. Thank you to host our family. 💕

I have no words to describe what an amazing host Laura is—by far one of the best hosts I’ve ever had across all the properties I’ve stayed at. Her place is super cozy, well-equipped, clean, and organized. It’s also really close to all the key spots. The beds are super comfortable, and she was always attentive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for an amazing vacation. Can’t wait to come back soon!

The condo was clean and spacious. Great for a family. Only surprise was the master did not have a shower so we all had to share. The location was great. Close to everything pigeon forge had to offer. Our family had a great time!

My husband and I loved staying at Connie’s condo! It was the PERFECT location for getting out and exploring Pigeon Forge. We will definitely be staying here any time we come back to Pigeon Forge!

It was so peaceful and relaxing, but close to everything. We loved feeding the ducks and geese!! Condo was nice and clean!
