“The flat is spacious, well decorated and cozy. Good for a couple days stay in Manchester. A couple items: - The location is great but it can be a little deserted at night, particularly if walking back and forth from the city centre where you have to cross the ring road. - I also found it hard to get the heating to a comfortable level in the winter. Bring warm socks! Overall I would recommend.”
Self-contained and self-catering en-suite apartment with separate entrance (from main house), located in Didsbury, Manchester's suburb.
“Where do I start, this was one of the best Airbnb’s that I’ve stayed at. It is perfect for 1/2 people. I visited Manchester for the Manchester United/City Derby and the location was great especially since the Derby was held in Old Trafford. There is a reason why Eric is a superhost. The Airbnb is located in a nice and seemingly very safe neighborhood. There are two train stops into Manchester. Both are about a 12-15 minute walk away. One of the train stops actually takes you to and from the airport for not a bad price. From the airport, you have to select the appropriate ticket. There is a laundromat and a really good and delicious restaurant for breakfast/ brunch called “Medo Cafe” walking distance. You’ll pass it if you walk from the train stop to the Airbnb from the Airport. The prices for the restaurant are really cheap. Eric is really responsive and actually let Stubhub mail the tickets to the match to his place for free. He was really nice and also let me stay an additional night for a really good price. There is also a ton of dvd movies to choose from when looking for entertainment at night after a long day.”

“The Whitlocke staff and especially Jo were helpful, efficient and super friendly. In the eye of the Coronavirus storm it was reassuring to have somewhere to stay that was self-contained, had all the amenities you could wish for and a comfortable bed. The only two negatives - the limit on WiFi (read terms and conditions) and the tin mugs for tea/coffee etc...it was impossible to hold because it got so hot! But if those are the only things to say then a pretty excellent stay!!!!”
