“This place is Kentucky gold. Loved the quiet cabin experience. And, that air conditioner..., omg... it kicks out some artic cold air. Thanks again for all the hard work you put into the place and making it available for others to enjoy.”
Our cozy cabin on the river is a place of peace, 15 minutes from downtown Bowling Green. Our retreat is nestled in a canopy of trees along the beautiful Barren River. This is a wonderful location for a romantic get-away, or for serenity seekers. We don't have WiFi or cell service, so prepare for an unplugged experience, with nature flourishing all around you. We insist our guests enjoy a 5 star experience, so if there's any accommodation you'd like provided, ask, and we'll do everything we can!
“This place is fantastic. The cabin is beautiful, so clean, and very cozy. Jeryn is a very responsive host and clearly puts a lot of care into the space. The views from the bed are fantastic, and I love the claw foot tub. It’s very quiet. We spent most of the time at the beautiful fire pit area. It’s just such a beautiful and peaceful space inside and out. Can’t wait to come back.”

“This was my very first Airbnb experience and it was awesome. Nikki and Luis were so nice and always super quick to respond. This is a cute little place that was quiet, and not far from so many things to do. It has a great price point, and a really nice country setting. We stayed here because it wasn’t too far from where my parents live. The place was not only clean, but allowed pets. We have a Shih Tzu and a Rottweiler that travel with us so this was really important to us. They have a really nice fenced in area with a pooper scooper and pail. A couple chairs are included in this area so you have somewhere to sit while u surf the internet on ur phone while ur dogs play. There is even a hose and a water dish in this area. Many things were included- pots and pans and other cooking utensils, oils and seasonings. There was a Keurig that I couldn’t figure out. LOL! I used the washer and dryer multiple times. They even had laundry detergent available. I had already purchased my own so I just used mine. The front bedroom even had lamps that had USB ports in them. Very cool! The place had central air, cable, and WiFi. There was even a candle for that at home feel. There’s a nice seating area at the front of the residence to enjoy the outdoors. We didn’t use the fire pit, but it’s a really nice area I would like to use in the future. We traveled to Horse Cave to try Turtlelini’s. Really good food and the employees are really friendly. I would def recommend staying here! I truly enjoyed my stay here, and def plan on a return stay in the future.”
