Apart from going through a difficult house purchase, we were also going through personal bereavement, the stay at Helen’s was an island in a storm, an utterly wonderful break that we desperately needed. The area is beyond beautiful, long walks with our dog into fields where we didn’t see anyone for hours, perfect! The studio itself is charming and cosy, it has modern comforts (tv and a good shower) but we loved the four poster bed and the old world charm of the place, I’m amazed anyone could be negative about staying there, I’ve paid 5 times the price for hotels that are trying to copy exactly what’s Helen’s studio achieved effortlessly! I could not recommend Helen or the studio any more highly, just wonderful, thank you Helen.

I booked this place for my mum and dad as a Christmas present. Marks communication was excellent, he was very proactive and friendly. He was keen to find out about my mum and dad's preferences, so that he could personalise their experience. My mum and dad thoroughly enjoyed their stay, and said that Mark's home is in a beautiful and peaceful location, and is equipped to an extremely high standard - first class!! This is one of the nicest places they have stayed in, and is perfectly located to explore the Cotswolds - they would highly recommend a stay at Mark's place :-)

We had the best stay at the Bakehouse! Kathy was super responsive and a very welcoming host. Gorgeous surroundings and plenty of nice walks nearby. The cottage itself was the perfect size, with tea, coffee and fresh, delicious lemon drizzle cake supplied, plus a very comfortable bed. Overall a great long weekend!
