The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Shops and restaurants as well as snacks are within walking distance. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, bathroom and hallway. Upstairs is the bedroom and a couch with TV (smart TV). Wi-Fi is available. The property also has an Expressi coffee machine, a stovetop, microwave and fridge.

The one-room apartment is about 42 square meters. It has a fully equipped fitted kitchen with a cooking island. In the apartment there is a double bed and an excellent sofa bed by Bali (each 140 wide). Arrival by 10 pm, the courtyard gate is closed at night. Renting for single nights is only possible in exceptional cases, renting to 3 + 4 people only from 3 nights. Cot and high chair cost €3 extra each. No shutters or blinds. NO SMOKING!

By car in about 15 to 25 minutes to Düsseldorf, about 30 minutes to Cologne Nevertheless, you do not have to give up relaxing nights, as we live very quietly. All shopping facilities are within walking distance. Thanks to your own kitchen, nothing stands in the way of a healthy and delicious start to the day.
