We felt very comfortable in Christina's house. The amenities are very high quality and thoughtful. We were particularly pleased that the dog was able to come along and that there were so many games for the kids. You can also quickly walk down to the lake or walk a bit into the forest, from where you have a beautiful view of Lake Rur. We highly recommend taking the boat across the lake - you can get off and back at the stops. After checking out, we had an exchange with Christina because of an ambiguity and that was very friendly and transparent at all times. Therefore, we can fully recommend not only the house, but also the landlady:-)

This is a great house, with a beautiful view and wonderful rooms & terraces. Every detail is present in the kitchen, and we really enjoyed all the amenities in the house: the fireplace, the sauna, the bath, the hammock, the bbq, the family games. It is definitely a place to relax in total peace and serenity. We found it hard to say goodbye!

Had a great stay and everything was exactly as described. The cottage is very well equipped and Dorothee welcomed us warmly. Small note: you hear the rooster in the morning if you sleep with the window open, at least on the side of the chickens, so real village life.

A very nicely decorated, listed cottage in a former workers' settlement, we felt very welcome.

We had a great time at the lovingly furnished Villa Kunterbunt. Kirsten is a great hostess. We were always able to reach them well and she had a very nice and open and uncomplicated manner. The house has everything you need and the surroundings are very quiet. We would always rent Villa Kunterbunt.

Karlijn and her family welcomed us very warmly. We felt very comfortable!It was a very relaxed,unfortunately only 3 day trip,but very relaxing. Great place to relax, very nice surroundings! You walk out the gate and have all kinds of beautiful hiking trails to go...Plenty and more... to experience in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, we really enjoyed the peace, the silence and the privacy that is offered here. Spotted all kinds of birds in the garden while enjoying a drink; Flemish jigsaws, robins, finches, goats and even 3 black with white colored squirrels that we have never seen in the Netherlands, this was a welcome extra during breakfast on our last day. In short, really a lovely cottage where we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed there for 3 nights, as far as we were concerned, far too short. The house itself is just a home where you can enjoy a lovely hot tub undisturbed, a hot tub and if the weather allows it a beautifully landscaped swimming pool outside. We took really beautiful walks, the gardens in Arcen we had already been but stay beautiful. So all praise !!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 min. walk to the nearest train station, you can get everywhere very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

Staying with Barbara and Frank was really great. We felt very comfortable, had everything we needed and recovered well. Thank you for the hospitality. The apartment was really great. The garden is so well maintained and a great environment for walking and jogging.

Markus and Carina are really lovely, tolerant people, it just shines from them. We were made to feel part of the family instantly. When we contacted them they were very responsive and assisted us with everything we needed. The apartment is spacious with plenty of cupboards and drawers, the kitchen is fully equipped as stated and was clean on entry, Nespresso machine was also really nice as we love our morning coffee. The surrounding area has beautiful walks and is very much like the Scottish Highlands, literally right outside the back door there is a lovely forest and hill walks, locals are friendly as you would expect living in such an idyllic hideaway. We very much enjoyed the fresh eggs and milk from the farms around the area. We really had a lovely time here and look forward to being able to return sometime soon.

We have made a stop here for the trip from the UK to Hamburg and can highly recommend the accommodation. The hosts are so warm, we felt welcome even before arrival. The hosts are very attentive and have thought about our needs in advance (toddler, dog) - we appreciate that very much and are not often found. We will be happy to come back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

what a lovely place this is!!! The cottage with the private garden is great for us and our dog, everything is clean, stove was on for us and the welcome was warm. Yvonne is always available and in for a nice chat. The bathroom is indeed separate but completely private and super clean. Fantastic host, place was very clean and easy to find. Easy to get into town and Henriette was a great host.

We had a great time in the cabin. Very cozy and just pure peace and quiet. Only the birds can be heard .

Location is top, everything was very well maintained and complete. The garden is lovely to relax in and the contact with the host went smoothly. The upstairs neighbor is also very nice and always available for questions or a chat. It was also very nice that the dogs were so welcome. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

I was traveling for work and was able to feel at home in Susann's apartment. The highway can be reached quickly and you can always find a parking space at the house, the surroundings were great for extended gas laps in the afternoon. In the kitchen you have everything you need and especially the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Thank you!

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. Cute little cabin surrounded by nature. The highlight was the wood-burning stove and the well-equipped kitchen, so you could spend cozy evenings there. Great way to spend a few days in nature near the city!
