“Living at Anny's house has been an incredible experience. It is a very large house, beautiful and very well located. It is only 10/15 minutes away from the main street and the Viborg bus / train station. Also, Anny has been a very good landlady. He has even shared some moments with the four of us. I totally recommend the experience, we will be back soon!”
“We celebrated New Year's Eve in Paul and Marianne's apartment and had a wonderful time in the stylish and large apartment. We were allowed to take our two dogs with us, which is not always a matter of course. The dogs had a lot of fun in the adjacent fields and on the fjord. Nothing is missing in the apartment! There is a fully equipped kitchen and very lovingly furnished living rooms. Marianne and Paul were very helpful and gave us excursion tips at the beginning (Thy National Park, Aarhus, Arlborg). We took the two and a half hour drive to Skagen and didn't regret it! We recommend the apartment 100%!”
“Our stay in Hjarbæk turned out to be one of these potentially life-changing experiences around which one’s life hinges. I remember Hjarbæk from my childhood, but staying there for three weeks would turn out for us to be much more than the re-enactment of a childhood memory. Rather, our stay served as a powerful reminder of certain essential life qualities that this New York couple struggle to keep alive on a daily basis. We were not looking for a luxurious holiday paradise, but rather we needed a simple and authentic place to stay in order to reconnect with our humanity and to recover from the trauma it can be to live in a big cosmopolitan city. We bonded with Leif’s wonderful little cabin (the porch of which, to me, has one the best views of any place I have ever visited), as well as formed a great and lasting friendship with our host. The cabin is basic and clean, well enough appointed and Leif is a wonderful host.”
