We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The cottage felt like home. We have relaxed in the quiet forest. I managed to let go of the daily and come to myself. And how dark it is at night! The cottage has everything. Coziness, warmth and indeed with all the comforts. Good airing was necessary, because it got damp in the cottage very quickly. We went home again with an inspired mind. Thanks! And we will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. It was so cosy, relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed walking in the countryside and walked to a lovely restaurant up the road one night. We were within a 20 min driving distance to Groningen. The beds were comfy, there was heating so we were warm, plenty hot water and everything you would need in the kitchen. I recommend staying here and look forward to staying here again when we are back in the area.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation.

Everything simple and uncomplicated, beautiful fresh flowers on the table to welcome you, everything as described. The cabin is great, and thanks to the wooden oven, which was also lovingly prepared to light, it was also quickly comfortably warm. Supply of wood was provided in the neighboring shed, thank you very much for that.

In this way, I would like to thank Erik again for his courteous and helpful manner. Communication was impeccable again. Erik is simply the best example of perfect host. Also on behalf of my friends I can say that we are always happy to come back. Thank you for everything!

It was a perfect stay for my days in Assen. Short walk to get a bus to Assen Center. In the cottage was everything you need. I very recommend to stay here.

Gezina was a very nice and welcoming host. We really enjoy our stay and definitely recommend this lovely place. A wonderfully special cottage with the forest within walking distance. I felt right at home and welcome. Partly because of the nice contact with Carmen. You can always come to her and she responds in a pleasant way. Nice clean place to relax and pay attention to yourself. I can take it all the time.

We really liked the place in the middle of the forest! It was very quiet, you were in the middle of nature and had everything you needed for a weekend trip. Martin has always communicated in detail what you need for the accommodation and communicate transparently. The late check-out on Sunday (until 8 pm) was also great! It was just under 30 minutes by car to Groningen - so the accommodation is perfect for a mix of relaxation in nature and at the same time close enough to stay after visiting Groningen. Unfortunately, there was a little mold on the ceiling in the shower cubicle and the drain smelled pretty much there as well. Otherwise, the place really had everything you needed. We would definitely return!

A nice cottage in peace, good base for hikes, visit to ashes and grooningen, camp westerbork.... Norg, at 1 km, is also a cozy town. The cottage has everything we need, with a well equipped kitchen, (although also sufficient hospitality at a good distance in Norg). The bathroom is basic but sufficient. I didn't expect the other cottages in the neighborhood, but didn't allow it either (no one heard...). In short, I recommend. Hilde

I enjoyed the peace and privacy in Esther's chalet, beautiful forests, wonderful for hiking and emptying your head.

Sandy Hook was even more beautiful and more spacious than the pictures make it look. We had 5 wonderful days in and around the house. The kids have more than had a good time outside. All kinds of fun activities and cities within a stone's throw away! Highly recommended.

It was a great stay during New Year's eve. Very relaxing and very nice cozy camp site.
