Vacation rentals with a kayak in Groveland

The drive was beautiful and the house was easy to find. PLENTY of parking. Easy and convenient check in. The house was spacious and so comfortable. The game room was a plus. The laundry room awesome. The beds are so comfortable and PLENTY of space for my big family. The children absolutely love the game room. Bathrooms PLENTY. The backyard was a dream. Absolutely beautiful. The stairs to the dock were great. The dock was so much fun. My children went swimming even in the rain. The water was great. If you love fishing, there was plenty of fishes to catch. Location felt so private making it even more fun for music, dancing and karaoke outdoors. The backyard little bar near the dock was a bonus to hang out and watch the kids swim in the lake. I will definitely come back! You will not be disappointed with the house and it’s plenty of amenities and fun. Hiking trails 7 minutes away was awesome. Waterfalls were great. I love it!

Alaina's cabin is paradise. Gorgeous setting looking over Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful space inside. Our family of 7 enjoyed all the rooms and amenities. Kayaking and paddle boarding. Playing board games on the deck. Meals at the large dining table. It was perfection and I highly recommend! Alaina answered all questions quickly and with kindness. 10/10

Staying at Troy’s home was such a positive experience for my family & I👌 I loved that the boys had the downstairs to themselves and they enjoyed the game room as well. I also brought my dog and he loved it here. We honestly had everything we wanted in Troy’s home so we stayed in a lot. We cooked a lot, played in the game room and also watched some movies & spend a day by the lake. My family & I made amazing memories that’s for sure. I would love to stay in Troy’s lovely home in the future.

We loved our stay at Pati and Joe’s place. We were dropping our daughter off at sleep away camp and decided to make a weekend of it in Groveland. The house is perfectly situated on the lake and only a 5 minute drive from Main Street in Groveland with fun restaurants and shops. Pati was very communicative and made it easy to get into the house on check in day. We spent most of the time hanging outside on the lake. The kayaks were great and we just paddled around to different beaches and swam. An amazing and relaxing weekend in a beautiful part of the state. We hope to be back!!!

A gem of a listing! This wonderful home made for the perfect long weekend getaway for our two families. It felt safe, VERY spacious and well equipped with all that one would need for the most idyllic lake-side adventure. There was something for everyone! The host was very accommodating and very responsive. Appreciated how organized the kitchen was. It made it very easy to find all that we needed when prepping meals in the kitchen. Highly recommend treating yourselves to a cone at the Grove Mercantile in Groveland. The ice cream is out of this world! You’re welcome:)

So glad we stayed here. The game room was great! So many games and things to stay busy with activities. Nice big comfy couch where the whole family enjoyed Christmas movies. Kitchen has everything you need plus more. Closet stocked with towels. Excellent views from all around.

We had such a wonderful time staying here with our family! The kids absolutely loved the arcade—what a hit! The atmosphere was so quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. We also visited the nearby beach lake, and the kids had a blast playing in the sand. We were hoping to go kayaking or paddle boating, but unfortunately, there weren’t any rentals available at the beach lake. Despite that, we still had a fantastic stay!

This place was beautiful and well kept! There was so much space and each room had a bathroom. I loved that all of the light switches were labeled so we knew exactly what we were turning on/off. The place was located close to downtown, but there was so much to do at the house even if we didn’t want to leave! Thank you for a great time!

We had a lovely stay at this property. The house has everything you could possibly need. There are plenty of activities inside and outside of the house. We were 2 families with 5 kids total and everyone was entertained for hours upon hours. The pond was such a lovely addition to our trip. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and watching the wildlife: The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There are plenty of games and toys for kids. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to cook for a large group. The one down side we encountered was the window coverings in the bedrooms. The blinds don’t fit some windows properly and some of the larger windows don’t have blinds at all so the light comes into the bedrooms early in the mornings. Just something to note for families with small kids who need dark rooms.

great place, the locations is amazing and close to alot to walk to. the place it's self is fantastic. the only downside is the kitchen doesnt have any cooking stuff just a microwave but the restaurants are all around it and east to walk to. definitely worth it.

Tom was an amazing host. He was flexible with check in time. Had Benjamin greet us and walk us through the property. He showed us where everything was. Made us feel right at home. The place was very clean and conveniently located. Walking distance to everything in town. I would come again and recommend to others

Fantastic place! We have been to Bass Lake a few times prior but this was the first time at Tom’s and we loved it. So easy to walk to the restaurants/bar/grocery store or down to the water. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was great! Definitely booking again for another trip to the lake. Cant wait to come back.

By far our favorite Airbnb so far. Cathie was extremely responsive and the accommodations were exactly as described. The home is located 1 block from Twain Harte lake which is a beautiful 3 minute walk. Our family spent the day using the kayaks, paddle boards, chairs and floatation devices that were made available for us to use. The evening was enjoyed by sitting on the comfortable deck or soaking in the hot tub. I would highly recommend Cathie’s place for a nice relaxing get away! We will definitely be back.

For 4th of July, we stayed in this perfectly placed home, with amazing lake toys and plenty of space. Multiple decks, tons of seats, double grills, tons of kayaks, SUP boards, and floats, and a dock that is shaded every morning for coffee and glorious for diving into the afternoon lake. Paddled over to the marina for softserv and even got to see fireworks over the lake! Wonderful week. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful home. We enjoyed two very peaceful days on Pine Mountain Lake. We were able to take the kayaks and SUP to the swimming beach several times. Kids loved the board games supplied in the house. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Grocery store nearby.

This cabin was so beautiful and my only regret is that I didn’t book more time here. It felt right at home and with all the personal touches, it felt like staying at a family member’s house (not just renting a cabin). The cabin borders the woods so you aren’t surrounded by other neighbors and one morning while we were enjoying our coffee, we saw some wildlife run past the property! It was so amazing to be so close to nature. I am definitely saving this place as a new family favorite vacation spot.

We rented Virginia's cabin due to it's close proximity to Dodge Ridge Ski area and prior positive reviews. Her cabin was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. A few things that impressed us were that she included a nice bottle of wine, a basket of snacks, DVD movies (dozens of them!) and coffee pods and coffee (the coffee and snacks were the first time we've experienced this in a rental property - a very nice touch!). The living area was very cozy with a nice gas fireplace in the main living area and two couches There were only two of us for this stay, but the guest room also had very nice bunk beds plus a daybed that could easily accommodate a few more people. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

What a great spot. Immaculately clean too. A little bit of a drive to Yosemite, but worth it to stay in such a lovely home and spot.

My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway and stumbled upon this cabin! Mike responded quickly and was so accommodating from the start! He gave us so many great options that fit us perfectly. Mike was a great host!! Plenty of room and parking! Was so peaceful. Small lil shops nearby. Will definitely be bringing our family back! Recommend The Local press for breakfast and lunch only 4 min away.

Overall we enjoyed the house. One downside was not knowing that we would need to take out trash with us in the way out. Would be nice to list on the listing. Also could have used a few more towels as we did not have 1 per person (were a group of 12 in a house that said it sleeps 15). We were offered a late check out which was great but not told til check out morning so not really able to use. Liz also said she was going to send something via docusign but never got it but thought it was weird as I thought all docs needed to be through Airbnb.
