ATTN: March reservations can be MUDDY. This camper is beautiful, romantic, retro-but-modern. The Taos air is clean, fresh, cool. The camper is set up at a private spot at our home about 12 miles (a 25-min. drive) east of Taos (toward Angel Fire). At 8,600 feet the winter can be strong, but the camper stays warm! The camper only has a TINY, TINY, TINY restroom. [NOTE: IN WINTER MONTHS running water IS UNAVAILABLE due to freezing temps (toilet works). But, the hot tub is available year-round!]
“Randy was such a blessing to us on our trip! He immediately came out and introduced himself, and made sure that we got everything situated. He is loaded with local knowledge, and his recommendations were spot on! Most importantly, Randy and his family are as caring and friendly as they come. I managed to get my heavy truck STUCK stuck on his infamous driveway. He informed me that I now hold the record for being stuck the worst so far (for his sake, don't accept this as a challenge), but they went above and beyond (I feel like this is an understatement) to get me out. I will be forever grateful to his family for helping me out of a literal rough spot, and getting me back to enjoying our vacation. Our trip was amazing, and I have Randy to thank for making that happen. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would! Go check out Randy's camper, and experience a blessing!”
Sweet studio apartment with patio and gardens on quiet dead-end street within walking distance of Taos best cafes, coffeeshops, and groceries. Pet-friendly fenced private yard and off-street parking.
“Michele's place is as described, a cute little house with a nice yard. We unfortunately cut our vacation short, but would absolutely stay here again when we redo our trip! Sitting out in the courtyard with our dog was relaxing, and the interior of the house was super cute. Michele left helpful instructions for getting around town, as well as some of her favorite places in Taos. Highly recommend!”
The property is located in a residential and commercial area. The historic old town plaza is within walking distance. Restaurants and all types of shopping are within walking distance. The rental is on approximately a half an acre with a spacious back yard. The space is great for a staycation, as a work from home alternative, or for families and also for a one or more day get away. DUE TO THE CORONA VIRUS, WE'RE TAKING EXTRA CARE TO DISINFECT FREQUENTLY TOUCHED SURFACES BETWEEN RESERVATIONS.
“My daughter and I needed somewhere to stop for a night driving her home from college and heard Taos was nice. We found Zenda's. We just loved the place. The entry is large and open, it has a nice little couch and chairs, with a fireplace and TV, two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a bathroom with shower and small kitchen with everything you need. The neighborhood is a nice quiet area very close to the historic downtown (really neat other than was closed up - 2020 pandemic) and there are plenty of restaurants, groceries, etc. The main open area was large enough that I could do all my exercises which was great. I walked my daughter's dog around the neighborhood which was really nice and shaded and friendly. I hope I can visit Taos again when the country is back open, and I know where I'll be looking to stay when I do.”
